Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? The Real Passion of Christ! Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? “I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.” My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? How many times have you said the same thing, how many times have you felt that you were all alone, How many times have you felt that no one cares? Everyone knows the television and movie version of the Passion of the Christ, but did you know that it was more than what they were showing? Men have been trying for centuries, to make money off the suffering of others, the same is true about Jesus and His Crucifiction. Most of the Biblical accounts in the movies are just a conglomeration of what they believed happened or they spice it up with fairy tales to get more people to watch them. These are seducing spirits that have only one agenda, To confuse. One good example is the movie, Noahs Arc, this was pure fantasy and very little was based on Biblical facts. Mel Gipsons,”The passion of the Christ.” was made for moneys sake, it too was with errors. The television show,”The Book of Daniel.” a farse and a belittlement of the true Book. A Passion is a devotion to, or interest in, a cause or subject, strong, enthusiastic devotion to an ideal, or goal and tireless diligence in its furtherance: Pain and suffering was the way of our Saviour. The passion of the Christ was about the death of a Messiah, but the passion was also about what was and what was to come. What was to come? The pain and suffering of His followers, which came with a diligence in the furtherance of the Gospel. This also was the Passion, men and women that did, and would love Jesus, even unto death itself. Jesus stayed on the cross because he was given a vision. A vision, a window, a door, a look into the future, of the suffering and love that many would find in His name. A vision that would aid Him in dealing with the pain and shame that He was to endure. This vision was also part of the passion. We see this in Hebrews 12:2, Paul states; “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith ( The beginning and the end.); who for the joy (The reason, the purpose, the end. “my delights were with the sons of men.”) that was set before him ( The vision of a unified Church under one name. His. Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, ) endured the cross (Suffering, pain.), despising ( To regard as unworthy of one's interest or concern the shame (Dishonor), and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Many say that this last sentence is denoting Jesus setting down on Gods Hand, which is totally wrong. Christ has His Throne to set upon, as stated in Matthew 20:20-23; Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able. And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father. The Passion of Christ was just a beginning of it, the furtherance of the Gospel was the continuation. The pain and suffering of many to come, then, today and into the future. The Crucifiction of Christ was pre-ordained by God, before the foundation of the world, there was nothing that could have been done to stop it. Matthew 17:11- 13 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. John the Baptist with the spirit of Elias, preached a true doctrine that would leed many back to the Holiness of the truth in Scripture and prepare them for the coming of the Messiah. The Passion of the Christ was then truly, not the crucifiction, but the life, before and after, of the Christ.Proverbs 8:22-35 proves this. His passion was His love for the Father, The Truth and Mankind. The Passion of Christ was His, strong enthusiastic devotion to His Father and to His Fathers will. We see that again with the disciples and beyond. Even in todays wicked world of sin and corruption, there are men and women, around the world, seeking souls for the Father and being beaten and killed for their testimony of this passion. So when did this passion come about? In John 1:1, we see the beginning; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Proverbs 8:22-35; The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him; Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men. Jesus was the Passion of His Father and mankind was the Passion of Jesus, before the foundation of the earth. Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. All of this is speeking of Jesus and His passion. (Mar-9:11-13; Mat-17:11-13, Mat-27:47-49)
Finding God. 1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. What is in the minds of those that are lost, indecision, controversy, doubt, lack of knowledge? Who are the Lost and what does it mean? "The Lost are those that do not, or have yet not, accepted the truth of Jesus Christ being the Son of God." That sounds like a good answer doesn't it? In a way I guess it is but being lost is much more than this, its actually the rejection that there is a God, a creator of all things, a mani-fester of goodness and righteousness. An intelligent being that has control of all aspects of life from the atom to the continued existence of man. If you do not believe in God, how could you believe that He has a Son? James states in; 2:19 , “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” Believing in God is not enough to be saved from the wrath to come. In 1Titus 4:1 we see; “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;” God is Spirit. In John, 4:24, John states a simple truth; “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. “ A spirit is an individual without the limitations of the body.” Everyone believes in air, but no one can see it, everyone believes in gravity, but no ones can see it, everyone believes in the easter bunny when it doesn't even exist. People celebrate Christmas, but denigh the one for which the celebration was created for. Then why cant people, that believe in things that they cant see, celebrate a day without believing in its purpose, believe in a creator that created all the things that people use and can see the results of? Many say that they believe in God but do not believe in His Son. For without the Son, they cannot believe in God. For without the Son there would be no God. In John 10:30, Jesus said; "I and my Father are one." So then is Jesus God? Some say yes others say no and both are correct. Jesus and the Father are one of the Same but separate Deitys(any supernatural being worshiped as controlling some part of the world or some aspect of life or who is the personification of a force. You cannot separate Gods Spirit from God. As in the Trinity, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Ghost).). References for proof; John 1:1-2, 5:17, 5:23, 8:58, 14:9, 14:23, 16:15, 17:10, 17:21; Matthew 11:27, 28:19; 1Titus 3:16; 2:13; 1John 5:7, 5:20 Who knew that thousands of years before man even began to write the Bible, that the words in Colossians 1:16 would mean so much in explaining God? ” For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” We see that even mans authority was created by God, thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers. Mankind believes that the creation of all things happened by accident, from the atom to humans, from oxygen to water, from dirt to space, for they lack knowledge in the spiritual and cannot see clearly. What kind of chance is there that all things happened by accident? None. If you can imagine the existence of nothing or the beginning of someone without a beginning, then you can understand God and that chance is not an option. Think about a being, a spirit, a Creator, that began without a beginning. The mind of man is too small to imagine beginning a beginning. Hebrews 3:4 For every house ( The word house here, means, beginnings. The beginning of everything starts with someone. Weather it be space, stars, earth, etc.) is builded by some man (here we see that the things that we see, are built by man, but all that we see was never created by man.); but he that built all things is God. In all of mans existence, he has never created anything from the beginning, that is, starting from nothing. Man cannot create from, will nor thought. Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life (All men seek the same thing, eternal life, but to those that refuse to have faith, eternal life will be in Gods judgment for them and not as they wish.): If we can believe that there is a God, then we can understand the things that we see and more importantly understand the things that we cannot see. If we then can believe in God, then we are on the road, to Salvation, Truth, Righteousness, Understanding of things seen and more important the things that we cannot see. Gal 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God?( Am I to persuade God, that man is the creator, or do I persuade Man, that God is and that He is a rewarder of those that seek Him?) or do I seek to please men?( If we please men then our testimony of Christ becomes null and void for men are of a controversial nature not wanting any thing to interrupt their strive for domination at any cost.) for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.( Serving Christ, to the Glory of the Father, is our manifest Destiny. Pleasing God above all others by telling the truth and speaking of one that can destroy, not only the Body but also the very soul, spirit, existence of mankind.) Hebrews 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. To believe in God we must have faith, we must be born again into spirit and we must believe in His Son. For whom gave His mortal life so that we could have immortal life. ars
What profiteth the graven image? A look at Habakkuk 2. The Lord is in His holy Temple - not, as the idols in temples made with hands, but revealing Himself in the visible temple (Jerome), “dwelling in the Son, by Nature and Union, as He saith John 14:10, “The Father who dwelleth in Me doeth the works;” in each one of the bodies and souls of the saints by His Spirit 1Co.6:19, in the Blessed, in glory; in the Heavens, by the more evident appearance of His Majesty and the workings of His Power ; “everywhere by Essence, Presence, and Power, ‘for in Him we live, and move, and have our being;’ nowhere as confined or inclosed.” Let God speak. Weather you believe in God the Father or not, He is and always will be. For God is spirit and eternal. We as a people, prone to illness, disease and death, are in the minority of creatures that the almighty has created. We were created for His good pleasure and not God for man. We see, and still are blind, we hear, and still are deaf, we feel, and still are without feeling. Lets read a little. Habakkuk 2:2-20 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision (The mystical experience of seeing as if with the eyes the supernatural or a supernatural being.), and make it plain (It is written to be easily understood.) upon tables (Paper, stone tablets), that he may run (Many Visions in The Bible are ones of great distress to the reader. many shun away from the prophetic word of God for this very reason. Death will come to all men, it is our destiny.) that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time (The appointed time, as spoken of here is the time of when the vision will become a reality. We must understand that the visions are periods of time that the prophets see actually what will occur , days, weeks and even thousands of years in advance. Does this say that the visions cannot be changed? No. Visions are warnings of things that will happen unless the actions of man change.), but at the end it shall speak(This is the period of time that this vision will take place. Most visions happen as seen, for God knows the hearts of men.), and not lie ( This is stating that this vision is of a truth, for many false prophets and false visions are created for mans edification and not for Gods.) : though it tarry ( Thou it will take time before it is accomplished), wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. At the appointed time for this vision to take place, it will occur. Behold, his soul which is lifted up( pride comes before a fall) is not upright in him ( Man has always thought of himself as the creator of his own destiny. He has rejected the truth of God down thru the ages and will untill the time of the end.): but the just shall live by his faith ( This phrase is used in these passages, Hab.2:4; Rom.1:17; Gal.3:11) Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell (Comparing mans desire as the size of Hell itself. Hell is never full and continues to enlarge its boarders daily.), and is as death ( Sin. As stated in James 1:15), and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? World wide many worship, angels, money, cattle, monkeys, golden images, statues. None can hear, speak, listen, teach nor save. But they still come, they still hope, they still worship. Instead of throwing their soul at the problem, they throw stones, instead of searching their hearts, they search the caves and mountains, seeking the face of God. Totemism, Maori, Witchcraft, Santeria, Woodoo, Palo Mayombe, Umbanda, Abacua, Satanism, Candomble, Marduk, all the Animistic religions, Taoism, Confucianism, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism are still rampent in the world. “Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.” How many are dieing of hunger because of mans worship of cattle, how many monkeys have feed a child? How many statues, of a man, have ever raised the dead, or promised eternal life? Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! These religions that we have seen and others not mentioned, build city's and towns, countries and provinces, with violence and blood of the innocent. Their cry is;”Kill and you shall be rewarded in Heaven.” How can you be rewarded for murder? Not willing that any man serve his own beliefs but their believes only. Torture and mayhem, surround these religions. Christianity is held as false religion and is punishable by death. Christ is not honored and neither God, for without the Son we have not known the Father. Cannot God create His own Laws and Judgments without the approval of Man? Cannot God demand the worship of His Son to His own Glory? Does God need a figure of stone to be believed in? But the dumb idols still are made, none to speak, none to talk, none to teach. Graven from the imagination of man from the falling star, to mythological creatures that have came from mans nightmares. From the image of mortal man, to the likeness of Animals. For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. There are only 2 religions in this world that do not pray nor bow down to Idols, Christianity and Judaism. God had no need for man to make graven images to Him, nor did He desire to have any resemblance of Him, draw, painted nor carved. Christianity has a symbol, not a symbol of life but of death, a Cross. A symbol of death to the body but a symbol of life to the believer. We bow down to no image, no Idol, no man and yet we worship a True, all powerful God that we cannot see. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. We worship God by Faith and not sight, we worship the Creator of all things with the spirit and not the flesh, we Worship The Father by love and not violence, seeking only to leed the lost to His Son so that our salvation can be shared by others. Not with the worshiping of angels but of the worship of a true God. Not seeking a reward on Earth but in Heaven as righteous and not a unrighteous as others seek. Have Idols of Gold ever healed any, have Idols of stone ever feed any have Idols of Silver ever taught any? Have these Idols ever answered prayer, cure diesses, fammon, illness or poverty? No. For they are just dumb Idols. (Psa_7:7; Psa_35:23; Psa_44:24; Psa_59:6; Isa_51:9;” 1Ki_18:26-27.
Grace. What is Grace? (1.) Of form or person. (2.) Favor, kindness, friendship. (3.) God's forgiving mercy. (4.) The gospel as distinguished from the law. (5.) Gifts freely bestowed by God; as miracles, prophecy, tongues. (6.) Christian virtues. (7.) The glory hereafter to be revealed. For the Believer in Christ, Grace is the most important substance he can posses. Why? For by Grace thru Faith are ye saved. Grace is the first gift that God delivers to the new convert to Christianity. With out grace we would all be lost. We all as Christians have problems in this life some more than others. Some Christians will go thru this life with no hindrances, sicknesses, illnesses, nor persecutions, Why? For each have been given a measure of Faith, some have High Faith some have medium faith and others have Low Faith. The more you receive the more is expected of you in return. In contrast, the less you receive the less is expected. Let put it in these words. A Person of low Faith [The Weak Christian] will be protected by God for his lack of understanding and strength and the ones that have the higher Faith, these are mostly, but not entirely, the ministers of the Word of God are allowed to be tested on their Faith. The Apostle Paul stated; Act 20:24, “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Of “the grace of God”, Favor, kindness, friendship, forgiveness, & mercy. “But none of these things move me.” Fire, Flood, Earthquake, Hunger, all these things test the weak and the strong in Christ, persecutions are the most felt hardship in the world today. By the Grace of God is sufficient for all of us to Stand. I see four distinct periods of time for the Christian and the Church and four distinct periods for the Church, according to Grace and Faith. 1. The beginning Church after Jesus returned to the Father, the time of the Apostles and Deciples. At this period of time there was great persecution of the Church by the Jews and Romans. 2. A development time for the growing Church, where little is known, the separation of the Catholic Church and the Prodistent Church. A breaking away from all hindrances to seek out the truth in the Word of God by all men and not Just a Few, 3.The Peaceful Church, these are the times that we have lived in, where grace abounded and revival came to men. Where you could see Baptisms every where, people being saved and Faith flourished. 4. The end time Church. This is the time we live in now. Persecution, Deception, Controversy, Lies, False Religions, False Christ, False Prophecy and the devision of the Churches. Every body wants a different name and doctrine. This was not in the instructions from Jesus. “Be Ye One!” Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: “Being justified freely by his grace!” Justified; In theology it means, remission of sin and absolution from guilt and punishment; or an act of free grace by which God pardons the sinner and accepts him as righteous, on account of the atonement of Christ. Romans, 3:24, Would be enough for many, but not to all. God justified us unto Salvation thru the sacrifice of His Son, in whom we believe, for many around the world, just being saved is not enough. We strive to give, to all, the grace that God had showed to us, to the salvation to them. What am I saying? Many a Christian are being persecuted and tested each and every day. So we endure hardships galore, to the testimony of the Grace that God gives to each and everyone that will believe. 1Peter 4:16, “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” [Note; The word, ”Christian” is only mentioned twice in scripture.] Romans 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ”we have access by faith” This is access to Grace or the, Favor, kindness, friendship of God that will sustain us in all perils that we endure. Grace is a substance, just as Faith is, that we possess. 1Co 10:30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks? Paul was stating,”Why am I called evil when I have the friendship, kindness and Favor of God?” “When Gods Grace means all these things to the believer?” The answer again is in scripture. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:10-12, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” The grace that you have or will receive from God, does not mean that you will never suffer as a Christian, it only means that He will sustain you thru these troubling times. You may not have all that you want, but His grace, or Favor, will give you all you NEED. Be content with having no shoes, for there are those with no feet, be content with no home, for there are those with no hope, be content with a piece of bread for there are those who have no food, be content with your clothes for there are those that are naked, be content with your sight for there are those that have no eyes, see what I mean by Grace? I am what I am by the Grace of God. Remember what I had said earlier? “The more you receive the more is expected of you in return. In contrast, the less you receive the less is expected. Let put it in these words. A Person of low Faith [The Weak Christian] will be protected by God for his lack of understanding and strength and the ones that have the higher Faith, these are mostly, but not entirely, the ministers of the Word of God are allowed to be tested on their Faith.” Paul put it this way in 1Co 15:10; “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” We must be content with who we are and the situation that we are placed in, for the Grace of God will sustain us. Not putting your trust in man but in Gods Grace.
When the world is on fire. pt 1. Revelation 8:8-8:9 What will you be doing? How many people have asked the question, what will you be doing at the end of the world? When I was a child, in the hills of Kentucky, I always asked my self this same question every-night before I went to sleep. I remembered the preachers sermon, the Hell fire and brimstone was still in my mind. I would take my time after everyone went to sleep and look out the window at the sky above. For a little kid I thought that everything was so large and big. I looked at the sky and told myself, The world was a clear blue sky with puffy white clouds when it ended. I didn't know much about scripture then, so I didn't Know that, when the world ended it would be on fire. Children are so innocent and trusting, I guess that the reason Jesus said that we had to become as a child to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Is there really an end of time? Is the Bible really true, is there really a devil or a God, what about a judgment? What do you tell them? This is what I answer. “What will you be doing while the world is on fire?” Part 1. Lets look at the Book of Revelations for a moment, some say its, the revelation of John, but its actually the revelation to John from Jesus by Gods Angel Rev1:1. Rev 8:7, The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth, and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. Now some parts of the scripture use the allegory of trees and grass to signify men, but not here, remember that. When this takes place, What will you be doing? Going to the nearest church to ask God to forgive you, running to the fire station, crying out that your house is on fire, Screaming that you cant find your Baby, or children or maby a husband or wife who were a christian, running to the fall out shelter? What will you be doing while the world is on fire? Will you be falling on your knees asking Jesus to help you or will you curse the God of Heaven, for the plague that has just hit the earth? Ill tell you. All the above, and more. The pain the smoke the agony, screaming to find refuge a place to run and hide, searching for family and friends, a terrible time a time you wished you had avoided. God is supream, He's the everlasting to everlasting, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, our God. There is a savior, there is a redeemer, there is a deliver. There is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Is Hell real?, you can bet your soul, there is. There was a man dyeing, that my family knew real well, he had not been the type of person that most people would want around them. A drunkard, a beater of women, user of every foul language, his marriage ended in divorce, his own son didn't want anything to do with him. He had been minister to many times, he had heard the word preached and still he refused the calling of the Holy ghost to repent. On his death bed, my brother-in law was speaking to him about Jesus and just before he died he said, I've had my chance, I've turned Jesus down one too many times. I can feel the heat on my feet, My legs are on fire. And just as he took his last breath he screamed, I can see Hell, and he died. What will you be doing while the world is on fire? Revelations 8:9, And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood. 8:9 , And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died, and a third part of the ships were destroyed. Where are you going to run, where are you going to hide? Where is there, a place of safety or a shelter from an angry God? The United States has the greatest Navy in the world, second to none, they are going to be destroyed, in a heart beat, in a flash of fire. Gone. Blood shall fill the ocean, fish and men will die, their great battle cruisers, air craft carriers, submarines, will be destroyed, blood and fire mingled with smoke, where will you be? You say, it cant happen, it a fairy tail. Look at history, look at Psalms, 78:43, How He had wrought His signs in Egypt, and His wonders in the field of Zoan. And had turned their rivers, into blood, and their floods, that they could not drink. 78:49, He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending them evil angels among them. Don't say that it wont happen , don't say that it cant happen, say when. These are all part of the trumpet judgments in Revelations, this action takes place after the rapture, the church wont be here. And if you think that the anti-christ will take care of you, your right, he will. If you refuse his mark, 666 you will be killed and if you take it God will destroy you. Its your decision, if you will not harden your heart, today is the day of salvation. Make today the day you give your heart to Jesus, don't let another day slip by and let some one else ask you, What will you be doing, When the world is on fire? end of part 1
While The World is on Fire. Luke 19:49-19:46 This world is a tender box, of political, industrial and religious, differences. What is making the world that we call home, so violent? Religion is the biggest fuel to the coming fire than any other source. More people are dyeing today in the name of religion than at any other time in history. Suicide bombers, arson-est and snipers, to kill mame and destroy. All this in the name of religion. These are some of the causes, now here is the effect, in our coming future, what will you be doing while The world is on Fire? Luke 19:49, Jesus said, I am come to send fire on the earth, and what will I, if it already be kindled? There's a fire coming and you may be part of it. The Lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, an at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him asunder, and will appoint him his portion with the un-believers. Luke 19:46. Can you afford to set back and think that every thing will be OK., that you'll be all-right, Cant you smell the smoke before the fire? Are you going to be among them that don't believe are you in that number that Jesus talked about are you the lost one that he's still looking for to save, well are you? Ask yourself, will I be setting around, lost, when Jesus breaks the eastern sky and takes his children Home, will you say, Jesus, I never had the time to pray. The Bible states that you will, cry out to the rocks and mountains to fall on you to hide you from the face of the Lamb and from the wrath of God. Look at Revelations 16:8, And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun, and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire, and men were scorched with great heat. It doesn't say heat, it says, GREAT HEAT. This is part of the beginning of righteous Judgments of God upon the wicked and evil men upon the earth. Can you hide, can you run, can you survive? This is not a question to answer, but to avoid. Today its pretty outside, blue sky, gentile wind, the blue jays and blue birds are eating of the feed that I've left out for them . The sweet songs of the season are all around, I've put my babes to bed and life is good, the world is at peace. Whats that noise? This is what people will say the day the earth catches fire, this is the time of great deception, when Satan will tell the world that every thing is fine. One moment you'll be basking in the peace of a cool fall or summer day and then, fire and smoke, mingled with blood surrounds you. Rev 16:15, Behold, I come as a thief. Screaming, wailing and gnashing of teeth. You look around and huddle with fear, not caring any more for the money you used to take so highly, or the home, in flames, that you worked on Sundays not listening to the songs coming from the church, just down the street, the beautiful trees you planted all now ablaze going up with your home. Knowing in your heart, the position with the church as a decon, that you held with growing pride, was just a lie, something to make you look good, knowing that you were just fooling yourself, its all over in a heartbeat. Then you think, Ill run to the sea, it will be safe there, There's nothing there to burn, the water will cool my blisters that cover my flesh, thats what Ill do. Revelations 16:3. And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea, and it became as the blood of a dead man, and every living soul died in the sea. What then, where will you run, the mountains and islands are moved out of their place the grass is even on fire and the sea has turned to blood, what now, where to go, God help us all. You say, why are you telling us these things, why cant you say things that are nice to here? Look at Jude 22 and 23. And of some have compassion, making a difference, and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Pulling them out of the fire, pulling you, out of the fire, thats our goal. Were coming down to the wire, You are just a heart beat away from judgement. Don't wait to be put into the hands of the Living God, bent upon wrath and judgement. Don't let today slip away and here again the question, What will you be doing, While The World is on Fire?
Hypocrite! Hypocrite= One who puts on a mask and feigns himself to be what he is not; a dissembler in religion. Our Lord severely rebuked the scribes and Pharisees for their hypocrisy (Mat_6:2, Mat_6:5, Mat_6:16). “The hypocrite's hope shall perish” (Job_8:13). The Hebrew word here rendered “hypocrite” rather means the “godless” or “profane,” as it is rendered in Jer_23:11, i.e., polluted with crimes. What can be said of a hypocrite? Many who profess Godliness that are cold and calculating in every manner of their life. We have been surrounded by these types of people for centuries. They say one thing and do another. In Mat 7:5, we see Jesus talking of the most prominent type of hypocrite, lets read a little; “ Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote(Mote,A small dry particle.) out of thy brother's eye.” Beam= “a rafter,” (ISBE)Luk_6:41 in contrast with “beam,” to rebuke officiousness in correcting small faults of others, while cherishing greater ones of our own. Have you known people that were more than willing to straighten out your life but have failed on their own? Have you had people tell you your faults but profess to be, themselves, perfect? Have you ever had people tell you your sins and imperfections then go and do the same things? These are hypocrites. Luke 6:42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye. The things that we give up to offering are not tainted if sin is removed from our lives, but when we have a sin or a dispute with a fellow Christian, and this is not resolved, we must not offer but rather first repent and reconcile to our selves and our brothers. Raca. A term of reproach derived from the Chaldee, reka, worthless. ("Raca denotes a certain looseness of life and manners, while 'fool', in the same passage, means a downright wicked and reprobate person."). Mat_5:22.(Smith) Mat 5:23-24 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Who are we to judge one another, who are we to say what is sin to some is sin to all? We are not to inter into self condemnation and are not to allow others to condemn us. We are a separate creation to God and we will answer for our own selves after this life is over. There is a way to address sin within the Christian community, but the Church has forgotten the way for lack of reading. Gal 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 1. “if a man be overtaken in a fault” (Barnes)“to take before another, to anticipate” 1Co_11:21; then “to be before taken or caught” If we catch or see a brother sin. 2. “ye which are spiritual.” Those that have knowledge in the scripture. 3.“restore such an one in the spirit of meekness” Meekness has been forgotten in many Christian communities, we must come to those that have sinned or erred from the truth, as a Lamb and not as a Bull. 4.“considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.” CONSIDERING, Fixing the mind on; meditating on; pondering; viewing with care and attention; deliberating on. We must consider ourselves within to see if we also have the same fault and if so, remove that fault so we can help others deal and remove that error. Luke 13:15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? Our total knowledge of life comes from The Scriptures. The things that are right and wrong, righteous and unrighteous, sin and not sin, love and hate and especially what God desires from us. We must never be caught up in the life of a hypocrite, we must always seek to help and not hurt, gather and not scatter, love and not hate. ars Luk 6:42 - hypocrite: Luk_13:15; Mat_23:13-15; Act_8:21, Act_13:10
I Love You; I Honestly Love You. When was the last time you told someone that you loved them? I'm not talking about your spouse, Children nor Mother and Dad. Does these words limit the way that they are used? Can you imagine a world without love, a world without compassion or a world without scruples? Well I'm here to tell you that this is the world that we live in. I Love You, in Christ Name. I Honestly Love You. Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (iniquity “the condition of one without law,” “lawlessness” Injustice; unrighteousness) Mar 12:30-31; And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. The greatest Love of all is for any man to give up His life for a friend, and who are your friends? The answer may surprise you, you neighbors and friends are not the ones that live beside you nor you comrades that you friendship with. Your neighbor is a man or woman that does you a good deed out of the goodness of their heart and your friend is one that believes in you, trust you and loves you more than they care for themselves. How can the love of God dwell within you if you only love those that love you, or you love only specific peoples, races, colors or national origins? How can we say that we love God when we alienate ourselves from the sea of Humanity? How can we say, we love God, when we attack or ignore our Parents or Children in a time of need, because of vanity? 1Jo 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 1Jo 4:20 tells us the fact of love. We cannot love God and turn our back on humanity, for weather you believe it or not, we are all brothers and sisters, we are family and tied together by blood. Which blood? The blood of one that is still saying; ”I Love You, I Honestly Love You.” Weather you see Christ as a separate deity or weather you see Christ as God, He is The Christ and Saviour of the World. Can you look at one in distress, in pain or in desperate need and say, I Love You but I can't help you, I've got other things more important to do? I love you, but I get tired of doing things for everyone else and neglecting my life? I love you, but my life is more important? 1Jo 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. Jesus never stated that He loved us but would not give up His God status for us. Jesus never stated that He loved us but would not give up His Glory in Heaven. Jesus never stated that He loved us but would not go to the Cross to save us. Jesus never stated that He loved us but would not take the beatings and humiliation for us. Just think what or where we would be today if Jesus did state all these things, what if He didn't come down from Heaven, didn't preach a better way, didn't take the abuse, didn't take the beatings, humiliation and didn't suffer the pain of the Cross? What if Jesus told the Father, “I Love you' but I don't care about your Creation.” Remember that the Jesus told us;”Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? And When Jesus came he saw multitudes of peoples, and was moved with compassion toward them, He saw you and I in His Heart and He went to the Cross stating, I Love You; I Honestly Love You. Heb 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance. 1Pe 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: 1Pe 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. Cry a tear for me in the days of my hurt, for I am a father, mother, sister and brother, I am an enemy that is lost, a stranger that is seeking a way, I am hungry, feed me, I am thirsty, give me a little water, I am naked give me clothes, I will love you, I honestly will. Heaven and Who Enters. For me to try to describe Heaven would be pointless, man has not the capacity of mind or thought to realize the beauty nor expanse of Gods Kingdom. There is a great misconception on what Heaven is and those that will be allowed to enter. Is there a Heaven? Yes. Is it a place or just a concept? Its a place. Deu 10:14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs ( United; combined; acting in concert; as a joint force; joint efforts; One who is entitled to possess. In Scripture, saints are called heirs of the promise, heirs of righteousness, heirs of salvation, &c., by virtue of the death of Christ, or of God's gracious promises.)with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Good intentions are not a key to enter into the rest of God nor His Kingdom. I was watching a program the other night and found again that most programs on Scripture are lacking in truth and information relevant to the needs of the populace. Entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven is allocated to those that follow the Commandments of God. Rules that must be applied in our every day walk upon this earth. These Commandments are not grevious nor burdensome. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Many say that there is no Heaven nor Hell, that there is always other ways to attain entrance into Heaven, that there will be people that never hear of Jesus that will be allowed into the Kingdom and others say that heaven is a matter of obtaining total consciousness. The first requirement for entrance is believing in the word of God. Rules that supersede all other beliefs, Believe in Jesus, Repent, Learn and Live. First I want to look at the meaning of the word Heaven; Raki'a, Firmament, Shamayim, Marom, Shechakim, "third heaven," 2Co_12:2. The air or atmosphere, where clouds gather; The firmament, in which the sun, moon and stars are fixed; The upper heaven, the abode of God and his angels, the invisible realm of holiness and happiness; the home of the children of God. Psa 33:13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. The Hebrews acknowledged three heavens; the air or aerial heavens; the firmament in which the stars are supposed to be placed; and the heaven of heavens, or third heaven, the residence of Jehovah. Among Christians, the part of space in which the omnipresent Jehovah is supposed to afford more sensible manifestations of his glory. Hence this is called the habitation of God, and is represented as the residence of angels and blessed spirits. Deu 26. Here are a few rules and situations that we must follow; Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Each and every religion on this earth give different ways of entering into Heaven, except the only way. That way is threw Jesus. Gods word is for the believers life, but to those that will perish it is foolishness. This Gospel that we preach and testify to, is truth and life to all that will believe. We cannot force anyone to believe in Jesus and no religion will pass away from man until the time of the end, then all will perish. God gives all mankind a chance to be saved from their sin, but not all will accept it. Those that say they are Christians and preach other ways to enter into Heaven are deceivers and are being deceived by their own lack of understanding of Scripture, those that say that multitudes will never hear of Jesus are also being deceived. The Bible gives answers to all these statements. We must remember these Scriptures are for those that believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. There is no reward in Heaven for murder, theft, deception nor unrighteousness. Lets look at John 10:1; “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.” This statement of Christ, negates any statement made by man, that there are others ways to enter. In John 10:9 Jesus shows us the only door; ”I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” For these verses to apply, they must be believed, many believe that Jesus was a man of God and a Prophet, if they do, then why do they not believe Him? The world is a mixture of different races, nationality's, and beliefs, but the Apostle Paul tells us how many will also be Judged under Christ. 1Co 9:21 - them: Act_15:28, Act_16:4, Act_21:25; Rom_2:12, Rom_2:14; Gal_2:3, Gal_2:4, Gal_2:12-14, Gal_3:2 1Co 9:20-23; And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. The entrance into Heaven is all inclusive unto all men. There will be no excuse, all will enter into Heaven by Christ or not at all, there is no exception. 1. Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. 2. Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; What is this law? The law of Righteousness, which is God and Christ. Weather under no human law or under the Law of Moses. 3. Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For those that refuse to accomplish the Law in their lives, will be left outside the gate. 4. Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: “a law unto themselves.” Not to say that they are not subject to the law of God but that they are a race within themselves to be justified or condemned by their righteousness. Again this Righteousness only comes from God and only thru Jesus. This is proven by the statements in Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. IMPU'TED, Charged to the account of; attributed; ascribed. Rom 4:21-24 ; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 5.Rom 2:15-16; Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. For me to try to describe Heaven would be pointless, man has not the capacity of mind or thought to realize the beauty nor expanse of Gods Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven has no limits, no boundaries and no measurement, for how can anything or anyone contain that which is the Spirit of God. John 10:9 - the door: John_10:1, John_10:7, John_14:6; Rom_5:1, Rom_5:2; Eph_2:18; Heb_10:19-22 and shall: Psa_23:1-6, Psa_80:1-3, Psa_95:7, Psa_100:3, Psa_100:4; Isa_40:11, Isa_49:9, Isa_49:10; Eze_34:12-16; Zec_10:12
The Lord is not in the Wind. Earthquakes, Fires, Tornadoes,Tsunamis, Tidal Waves, Disease and Volcanic Eruptions are not all terrible examples of Gods Powers and retribution on man and their sin. Many times in history God has become the main source of blame for many disasters that He had nothing to do with, also these things have been attributed to Satan, neither of these ideas are true. Many attribute the disaster in the southern states, of the United States, as a Biblical prophetic action by God, this also is a mistaken idea. Hunger, Petulance, Disease, Infections, and Aids are also attributed to some interstellar, Intergalactic or religious action, this idea is also full of holes and without merit. We must realize that God is not in the wind, He is not always the controlling factor of many things that plague mankind upon this earth. The Bible shows us many examples of disasters that occurred without Gods intervention. The Biblical prophecy's of disasters that will occur are ordained by God, in other words, since God knows the future, He knows what will and will not take place. When the prophecy's are more specific and state that God deals these things to happen, He will cause them to happen. Lets ask a question, Is God the orator of all disasters? The answer is no. Is God causing aids and starvation all around the world? The answer is no. Is God causing wars and rumors of wars? The answer is again, No. These things are attributed to God because, many are misunderstanding Biblical prophecy. All these disasters are a link to end times actions, and not the total sign. Its a combination of events that illuminate the signs of the times and not just a single event. Lets read 1st Ki 19:11-13; And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:(wind= gale, storm or tempest, “but the LORD was not in the wind.” There are natural forces, set up by God, that creates winds, many times these forces create a greater wind unto and including Hurricanes, does this mean that God causes the up-surgence of these disastrous winds? No.“but the LORD was not in the wind.”) As each day goes by, we must evaluate what we know and what we have learned. We see changes in the world in which we live and must change as the world gets closer to the end. Change not as the world itself changes but rather change our understanding of Biblical prophecy and interpretation. “the LORD was not in the earthquake.” The Bible speaks of this world as a living in-tidy, a living force, that was created by God to evolve and change as the years continued. The earthquakes that are common are those that are changing the landscape, this is the breathing of the inner earth, that is still changing, the earthquakes that are controlled by God are those, again of prophecy that are the direct result of God retribution against man, as noted in Rev 8:5; And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. These verses will help you to understand. Rev_11:13, Rev_11:19; 1Ki_19:11; Isa_29:6; Zec_14:5; Mat_24:7, Mat_27:52-54; Act_4:31; Act_16:26. Great earthquake disasters are a direct result of mans, fore knowledge that he is building in an unsafe area and is not always the result of Godly intervention. The Phoenicians built their city in the middle of a swamp, many California cities are built on earthquake faults, Japan and many other great city's are built in areas that should have never been considered as a good location, and there are many other examples. You don't build a city next to a volcano. Jesus stated the truth when He used the parable of building a house upon the sand. Mat 7:26-27; And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Isa 29:6 is another example of Godly intervention; Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire. We must be careful not to attribute man made disasters to Gods intervention. Man creates his own trouble, aids, cancer, poverty, famon, petulance and others. These things are caused by mans inhumanity to man and non- compliance to the Laws of God. Sin kills. Isa 29:6 - Isa_5:26-30, Isa_28:2, Isa_30:30, Isa_33:11-14; 1Sa_2:10, 1Sa_12:17, 1Sa_12:18; 2Sa_22:14; Mat_24:7; Mar_13:8; Luk_21:11; Rev_11:13, Rev_11:19, Rev_16:18 1Ki 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. “the LORD was not in the fire.” Exo_9:23, “And the Lord sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along the ground; and the Lord rained hail upon the land of Egypt.” So in Psa_105:32, referring to the plagues upon Egypt, it is said, “He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.” So again, Psa_78:48, . The Bible is specific on which plagues are Gods punishment, but man has and probably will continue to attribute all disasters to God. Forest fires are mostly, nature taking care of itself, removing all clutter, but many times, fires are set by man. When God uses fire He lets us know, as in Rev 8:7, The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. The easiest way to learn about Gods intervention and the difference is by looking at the account of Moses and the exodus. 1Ki 19:13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? So what is all this about? Mankind has become a hateful creature. They dictate what is right and wrong, what is good and evil, what is righteous and unrighteous. They kill and say that they are doing God service, they lie to obtain, they steal to obtain. They blame God for everything that goes wrong, from illness to natural disasters. But after the Wind, the Earthquake and the Fire, then we see God, in the stillness. In the quiet, in the serenity, in the recovery. “What doest thou here, Elijah?” Peace. We must all learn to be still in all manner of calamity, so that we can hear God, a small still voice that says,”I am here.” Remember to ponder, the LORD was not in the wind. ars. but the Lord was not in the wind: Zec_4:6 an earthquake: 1Sa_14:15; Psa_68:8; Nah_1:5; Zec_14:5; Mat_24:7, Mat_27:51-54, Mat_28:2; Heb_12:26; Rev_11:19, Rev_16:18 and a great: Exo_19:16, Exo_20:18; Job_38:1; Psa_50:3; Isa_30:30; Eze_1:4, Eze_37:7; Nah_1:3, Nah_1:6; Heb_12:18-21; Rev_20:11
“But for a drink of Water.” But for a Drink of Water. Will the mercy's of God be everlasting to His enemies? No. Will He, who created, say to the creature; “Have a time with me, doubt my word and I will be merciful ?” No, but the creature will denigh all exsistance of the creator until it comes time to answer for all their works. Deu 32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end! Can this life, that you live, be without consequence after death? Everyone sees everyone else going to a place that they call Hell, but they never acknowledge the exsistance of it for themselves. They call on mass murders and rapist to answer for their crimes in everlasting punishment, but for not serving God, or believing in His Son, they denigh any wrong doing or sin. I never asked to be born and I should not be held responsible to make a decision on weather God exists or not. Luke 16:23-24; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” Many evangelicals and other Ministers, play down the exsistance of Everlasting torment and Hell. Many say,”Why would God allow a man only to live a short space on this earth and then condemn a person to eternal Punishment?” Does the punishment fit the crime? “therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.” “I am tormented in this flame.” The law states that there is no better witness than a person that has seen. How can we ignore the witness of such a man as this, a man that lived his life in pleasure not wanting for anything, denies God and spends his life in the flame that never dies? God needs no councilor or advisor on sin nor unrighteousness. God created man for His good pleasure, gave him a soul and a choice. If our choice is to denigh Him, He then will also denigh us. denigh what? Our very exsistance, our privileges and rights to enter into everlasting rest and joy. The humiliation, pain, suffering, blood and rejection has already been shed. You are no longer a free agent, to come and go as you please, your life is no longer yours, it belongs to the one that paid the price. You have been freed from the bonds of Satan and now you must make a choice. Jer 23:19-20; Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly. Who can stand against the Lord and the purpose of His thoughts, who can negate the thoughts of His Heart. Who can say to the Lord, “This is not right?” Can we use our imagination to change the things that are and will be? “The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand;” God will not repent of His fierce wrath against the workers of iniquity nor the workers of darkness, He will not repent of His punishment of those that denigh His Son. For as the Father is, so is the Son. “Depart from Me ye that work iniquity, for I never knew you.” How can any denigh the exsistance of Hell or an eternal punishment, do they also denigh the Son and His words? Can they say that Jesus told stories and fairy tails to scare the Children? In Mat 13:41-42; Jesus stated the word “Shall” four times, which means; When shall is uttered with emphasis in such phrases, it expresses determination in the speaker, and implies an authority to enforce the act. shall implies a promise, command or determination. Mat 13:41-42; The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Many have prophesied, dreamed dreams, spoken as from the Lord, but He never sent them, never gave them a vision nor a dream, hypocrites all that say that they are the voice of the Lord, whom He never sent. Deceivers, deceiving and being deceived. Leading themselves and others down a path that leads to that fire, where water never runs, where pain never stops, where salvation cannot exist. Your Worst Enemies. In our lives there are many disappointments and and injuries to the spirit. We see ourselves as immune to many of this worlds hurts but we must evaluate whom are our true enemies. Are the enemies, those of foreign countries, are they foreign born, or are they people from your own country, your next door neighbor? Your worst enemies are not those terrorist, who spout propaganda, nor the people of the neighborhood. Your worst enemies are those of your own House, your children, Mother and Dad, sisters, and brothers. It is those that are close to you, your friends and acquaintances. You say then,”Is there something that causes this to happen? The Answer is yes. But first lets read what Jesus had to say; Mat 10:35-36; “For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.” End times prophecy's come in many forms and constitute the bulk of what we know of the coming end of times. Believing in Christ and serving God, was never promised to you, nor anyone in past history as being an easy way of life. We suffer and will suffer many trials, troubles and disappointments along the way to Eternity. But eternity is what we must face alone and must be our main concern. We cannot save anyone except ourselves, we can only admit our sin and no one else's, we can only repent of our sins and no one else's, so its between you and God. So then what would cause a man's foes to be those of his own household? The answer is Jesus and the Faith that we have in Him and Gods word. Faith in the Gospel and Faith in Gods promises. Jesus stated that if a man loved his mother or father more than Him, then we would not be worthy of Him and therefore rejected. When it comes to God and His Son, there is no compromise nor choice, you either believe and worship Him or you take your chances on the world. This is where, even your own family will turn against one another. Many in your household may be, selfish, self centered, anti-Israel and anti-Christian, or anti-everything. Many have a form of religion, this is a religion based on things other than the truth. New Wave, New Life, etc. Some are neither a religion or a cult but rather a simple rejection of Jesus and any other deity's exsistance. I'm not saying this Jesus is. Lets read a little from Psalms 55:12-13; “For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.” Being reproached by a stranger or enemy is easy to take, for we can avoid them or even hide from them, but how do we avoid a family member, how do we see beyond a smiling face and see deception or cunning? “For it was not an enemy that reproached me but my family.” “neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me, it was my friends, brothers, sisters, mother and dad.” Luke 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. Psa 55:14-15 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. Mic 7:5-6; Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. The family structure, especially in these end days and more in the times of tribulation, will be one of great anguish and torment. Mothers against Daughters, fathers against Sons. The Gospel will be hated greatly and also those that will believe in times of perrial. To save the flesh, many will turn against their family's and report their their faith to the forces of the anti-Christ. This is where the new born Christian will have to make a life or death decision. Choose life in Christ and die in the Body, or Choose death in their spirit and take life in the body and suffer eternal damnation. For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. ars. a man’s: Psa_41:9, Psa_55:12-14; Jer_12:6, Jer_20:10; Oba_1:7; Mat_26:23, Mat_26:49, Mat_26:50; Joh_13:18, Luk 21:16 - ye shall: Jer_9:4, Jer_12:6; Mic_7:5, Mic_7:6; Mat_10:21; Mar_13:12 and some: Act_7:59, Act_12:2, Act_26:10,Act_26:11; Rev_2:13, Rev_6:9, Rev_12:11
I AM THAT I AM. Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, “I AM THAT I AM”: and he said, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” The Lord, Was, Is, and Shall be forever more. I Am That I Am, I Exist, I Am Past, I Am Present, I Am Future, I am Self sustaining, I Am self sufficient, I Am Self Contained. I Am, God, JAH, Alpha, Omega, Jehovah, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, The First and The Last. Have we forgotten who we serve? Have we gotten to the point in our evolution, as Christians, forgotten the One of Power and Creation to whom we had pledged allegiance to? Are we not called by God, Sons and Daughters? We serve no man, bow to no power, run from no adversary, worship no idol, nor carry any mark, for we are Kings and Priest before God. We have only the seal of God upon our foreheads. We are sealed unto redemption by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We have the Power of the Holy Ghost with us, we have the Spirit of Christ within us, and we hold allegiance to none except the Lord God, for the Scriptures say, “If God be for us, then who can be against us?” As we go day to day, seeing the earth tremble with fear, we see a God above all, a provider, a source, and a deliverer of the body and the soul. To harm a Child of God, is to Harm God, for He is within us and we in Him. We have become who God desired us to be, but we must not forget, not to withdraw from His Love and Protection. We as Christians are not meant to live in this type of world. Greed, Lust and fleshly desires have changed the Good to the Unrighteous. In Hebrews 11:12-13, we see this; Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. It is not the Earth that has changed but the inhabitants thereof. We seek other souls for Gods kingdom, speaking of His Love for His creation and giving His Son for our Sins. Commanding a light to break thru the darkness, that fill many with despair and confusion. When Jesus went to the Cross, He nailed everything that we were on the Cross with Him. God looked beyond our faults and saw our needs. As Adam fell, a new chapter came into being, in the salvation of man. No matter what we were, no matter what we did, God saw a people that desired to do the proper thing in this life. When God developed His plan for salvation, He knew that we, as a creation, were weak in the flesh. We have all fallen short of Gods expectations, even Ministers of the Gospel, have also fallen short. There is none perfect, no not one. There is none that seek after God as intended, there is none that are Holy, as the Father wanted, but God accepted our faults, but refused to leave them there. We had to be made acceptable unto His righteousness. There are many ministers in the world that, will try to convince the lost to get to the alter and pray for salvation, this, even when the Holy Ghost has not called that individual. Salvation is an individual matter between the lost and God. Salvation comes when the person admits that he is lost and in need of Jesus, and when a person is born again, then He is saved. Many teach salvation without the pre-recquisit of Being Born again, this is a fallacy within their Doctrine and very dangerous. We cannot force salvation on any one. We are not Born Saved, we are not born into any religion, but we are born into sin, by the very fact, that we are born of woman. That which is flesh is flesh and that which is spirit is spirit. There were no restrictions on salvation when Jesus spoke upon the earth, the poor, rich, healthy, the sick, were all seen as equals, but today there are so many hypocritical members of the church body, that impose restrictions for salvation and even coming in to worship God. We are no better than the members of the First Church, we are all sinners saved by Grace. You do not learn to become a Christian by mans ideas of salvation but on the contrary we are all taught by the Holy Ghost and those sent to instruct members into righteousness, that is scripture and that is the truth. 2nd Titus 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: Many have been shunned in churches by there appearance and social status, this should not be. Matthew 5:3; Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Jesus came from Heaven to the Earth, to show the way of salvation, He went to the Cross to pay for our salvation and from the Cross to the Grave and had risen to give us Hope of the resurrection. "When you Saw Me in Prison." Mat 25:35-40; For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. The ability for man to truly love is based on his ability to love, a stranger, an enemy or himself. Even thow one be cast into prison, doesn't mean that we must forget about love and compassion. The Guilty must be punished but our love for the guilty must be as strong for them as for the innocent. Jesus put the crimes of the flesh as being equal to the crimes of the spirit. God sees no difference between the sins of the flesh and the sins of the spirit. Many have a hard time in understanding sin and its consequences. Many don't understand that murder and adultery are equal in the sight of God. Rom 2:21-23; Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? Physical and spiritual, there is little difference. Do you say, “don't steal”? Do you yourself steal from the guilty, love and understanding? Are you just as guilty as the convicted by hating them without a cause? Look at Jesus, He was, persecuted, hated, despised by His own People, but because He was sent to all mankind He asked the Father to forgive them. Those that commit crimes are under the influence of the spirit of Satan and have no recourse but to obey. Is it because they don't know Jesus? Is it because they haven't been prayed for? Is it because they need someone to lead them to Salvation? Or is it because they have seen hipicritical Christians saying one thing and then doing another, is that the reason they turned away from God? When a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, does it make a sound? When a person is alone and dieing, is there a sound? The answer is yes. If God knows when a sparrow falls, He hears the lonely and crying. Many take the passages of Matthew 25:35-40, as to mean only Jesus, but it is more than that. Its an instruction to all on ones duty to love all mankind, no matter what they have done. To be in prison, is to be in a separation from the ones you love and trust. A separation from the Father of all, the loss of freedom of expression and movement. The old saying; “Iron Bars does not a prison make.” is wrong. Iron bars are a hindrance to all, spiritual and physical. We cannot know the thoughts and feelings that many feel that are in their own prison. When John the Baptist was thrown into prison, Jesus did not go to him nor did He arrange for His release. But John sought a word from Jesus and Jesus sent His reply. Mat 4:12 Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; Jesus, cared for the plight of John, but He also knew that a mans destiny must and will be fulfilled. He knew that prophecy would be fulfilled and He, even being the Son of God, could not inter-fear with one mans destiny. John accepted his fate, knowing also the scriptures. Mat 5:25-26; Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. The payment for sin is great and has lasting implications, not only for the one that was punished but also for the loved ones that observe the punishment. Here we see that sin of the flesh is compared to be equal to the sins of the spirit. Mat 5:27 ; Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? Gal 5:19-21; Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Can you see the physical and the spiritual in this previous passage? The commandments that Jesus always spoke of are sometimes ignored thru ignorance and sometimes thru no fault of our own except forgetting who we are. Saint nor sinner have any excuse as not to love one another. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Rom 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Saint or Sinner, Saved or Lost, Black or White, Guilty or Innocent we are all the property of God. The guilty will be punished by God, but who are we to judge? Those that steel, kill, and acquire by using the law as their ally, are they just as guilty before the eyes of God, thow man says its alright? Rom 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Act 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. I want to leave you with this thought from ; Luke 23:39-43; And one of the malefactors(Felons, Criminals, Law Breakers) which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. Didn't Jesus believe that it was important to forgive others no matter what they were guilty of ? Both paid for their crimes but one found salvation. ars
Is Jesus God? Many are asking this question, trying to find an answer. Some say yes, some say no, and some are not sure. So then how can we find out who this Great Messiah is, God or Christ? First lets look at a little contention in the preaching of the Gospel. Many Churches today, and in the past, are preaching Jesus only, some God only and even some, God and Jesus only, without the Holy Spirit. All three of these are wrong. We shall show you why. In Matthew 28:19, We see the Christ speaking of three separate Deities and not just one or two, Why? We know from Gen 1:2, God is mentioning two separate Deities, Himself and His Spirit, for one cannot be separated from the other. In Gen 1:26 we see God speaking; And God said, “Let us make man in our image.” He was not speaking to the Angels. The same applies in Gen.3:22 & Gen.11:7. So you say,”Then where was Christ in Genesis?” In John 1:1-2 we find the answer; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The same was in the beginning ( This is not a beginning as we are accustomed to. But a beginning of His creation of what we now call the universe.)(Visual) with God. In John 1:1-2 ,“The Word” is Jesus. Surprised? Don't be, for John continues to present the word in the flesh; John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh (A Visual representation of God.)(Emmanuel=God with Us.), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Notice in your Bibles the word ”Word” is capitalized, designating a first person context. Also we need to look at these words from the text,”as of the only begotten of the Father “, ”as of “ is stating that Jesus was never,”Begotten” but that His existence is attributed as being so, for God and Christ have always been. The Bible is written in its simplest form, to alleviate any misrepresentation of what it is implying. We see this in, Proverbs 8:22; “The LORD “possessed me” (influenced or controlled by a powerful force) in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning (This is again not referring to an actual beginning but to a starting point of God creations of all visible things.), or ever the earth was ( Before the Earth was Created.). ”Philippians 1:15-17; Some indeed preach Christ even of envy (Envy springs from pride, ambition or love, mortified that another has obtained what one has a strong desire to possess. The power of envy is stated in Pro.27:4 : “Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?”) and strife (Exertion or contention for superiority; contest of emulation, either by intellectual or physical efforts.); and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention (Strife in words or debate; quarrel; angry contest; controversy.), not sincerely (Not Honestly; Not with real purity of heart; with simulation or disguise;), supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel. In Pro.8:35-36, we find the Christ speaking about two separate people, Himself and The Lord. "For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death." But in Gen 1:2, We see God speaking of Himself and His Holy Spirit. ” And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Then still again, Jesus spoke of all three in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:” Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. In these next verses, we see a unique bond between Jesus, God and The Holy Spirit of God. This bond was before any beginning of anything. For All three are one. My interpretation of these and others that mention this bond is, “God sacrificed Himself to Himself, to save us.” Lets read a little to clear up a little more. Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.(Here we see again 2.) Mat 17:4-5; Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.(Here again we see 2.) John 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (Here we see a little clearer that God and Jesus are one in spirit but separate in missions.) But we must look at John 15:26, this verse gives us the answer to our question. ” But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me. (Here we see three. look closely at the word, ”proceedeth” this means, (To come from a source; originate or issue, Flow, Stem, Arise, Derive, Emanate.) The Holy Trinity is God. God is, The Father, God is, The Son and God is, the Holy Spirit. John 16:28 I came forth from the Father ( See the answer, “came forth” = proceedeth and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. ars Pro.1:33, 3:13-18; John.3:16, 3:36, 14:6; Phi.3:8; Col.3:3; 1Jo.5:11, 5:12
Through the Eye of a Needle. (With Riches come great responsibility.)Many ask, why do you continue on with writing sermons and lessons on the Bible. My answer is simple, I have a ministry that was delivered unto me by the Grace of God, my mission is to deliver the truth and open up the Bible to all that wish to obtain a deeper insight into God and His love for us. To get all churches and church members to come together and work together, to seek out and bring the lost to Christ. My answer is in 2Co 12:15; “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.”
Through the Eye of a Needle. Mar 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. I have noticed that there are many verses in scripture that stand out with significants, this is one of them. We see that a rich man has a more difficult time being saved than a poor man. We see the reasoning behind this every day. Ive seen many that, because of their possessions, don't give their soul, the time it deserves, to make a decision on where it will spend eternity. We must all remember that God will not accept anyone into the Kingdom of Heaven, that serve other Gods. Many will, and have, made gods out of just about everything. This is a dangerous concept but it is happening. Will jesus find faith on this earth when He returns? Yes, but there will be many that are going to be found lacking in the basic principles of Christianity. These people will be left behind to reconcile themselves to God. Many will enter into the Great Tribulation period and will have to make the ultimate sacrifice to enter into Gods Rest. Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Slothful= Inactive; sluggish; lazy; indolent; idle. He that is slothful in his work, is brother to him that is a great waster. Prov 18.) There are man Christians, that I have noticed that have become, Inactive; sluggish and lazy. They have forgotten from where they have come from and have left their first love and follow after the riches of this world. 1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. The Love of Money is the root of all evil. The love of riches will interfere with the work that we have all accepted from God and start leading all down to the pits of Hell. What is it that makes Christians go after wealth in this life, is it a message that they've heard, is it a teaching that has come about in this the end days? The answer to all is, Yes. There are teachers out in this world that are teaching a doctrine of Wealth and prosperity from God and that no Christian should be poor. This message and teaching is false. Jesus promised us life and life more abundantly. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. abundantly= Great plenty; an overflowing quantity; ample sufficiency; in strictness applicable to quantity only. This was not saying that anyone that believed in Him would become rich but rather just the opposite. The end time Churches have not been zealous of good works, but rather growing rich beyond all manner of thought and have forgotten their mission to help the poor. Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing” This is the church as I see it today, the so called Mega Church, with the grand buildings and a A.T.M. Machine at its doors, to collect offerings before people even enter into the church. This message has caused many that are middle class to risk their blessing from God on gambling, bingo and lottery's. Is this the type of people that God desires us to be? Is this proof that many people have lost all trust in God for their daily needs, is this the way of man that forget the way of God ,when He stated, “With food and raiment therewith be content?” Has the Church become non content and weary of just food and raiment? “knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” These strong words come not from me but our Savior Jesus; 1. wretched = Very miserable; sunk into deep affliction or distress, either from want, anxiety or grief., 2. miserable = Very unhappy from grief, pain, calamity, poverty, apprehension of evil, or other cause. It however expresses somewhat less than wretched., 3. poor = Destitute of value, worth or importance; of little use; trifling., 4. blind = Not having the faculty of discernment; destitute of intellectual light; unable to understand or judge; ignorant. In scripture, blind implies not only want of discernment, but moral depravity. 5. naked = Unarmed; defenseless; open; exposed; having no means of defense or protection against an enemy's attack, or against other injury. Mere; bare; simple; wanting the necessary additions. God requires of man something besides the naked belief of his being and his word. In Revelations 3:17-18, we see jesus telling the Church what it had become, a building for meetings instead of a Church for God. He warned them to change and become less dependent upon their wealth and more dependent upon God. The lesson He showed them was to open their eyes to the truth, where they were wrong, where they were lacking in faith and knowledge of Scripture and to let go of what they deemed important, for the love of money is taking them down and others with them. This end time Church and many of other Christians have closed their bowels of compassion, giving their sons and daughters stones, when they are asking for bread, giving their sons and daughters serpents, when they are asking ask fish , Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a? 1st.John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? Pro 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. Will the Church turn away from the Law of Mercy and knowledge? The answer is, yes. ars. (Definitions come from Webster.)
The Unanswered Question. pt.1. What is the unanswered question? Why. Why is there hate, why is there famine, why is there conflicts at every stage of growth? Why? The word is mentioned in the Bible 102 times, mainly by those that were trying to gain an upper hand upon knowledge that was previously denied them. Men that could not or would not accept the truth, the truth about life, death, associations, relationships, government and religion. Many times in scripture we see the question, Why?, Answered by a question. We see this also today, but not for the same reason. Mat 15:2-3; Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? In Mat 15:2, we see the scribes and Pharisees, tempting Jesus with a, why, question, “the transgress the tradition of the elders.” Tradition; Any kind of teaching, written or spoken, handed down from generation to generation. In Mar_7:3, Mar_7:9, Mar_7:13, Col_2:8, this word refers to the arbitrary interpretations of the Jews. In 2Th_2:15; 2Th_3:6, it is used in a good sense.(Easton.) TRANSGRESS', v.i. To offend by violating a law; to sin. In a moral sense, to overpass any rule prescribed as the limit of duty; to break or violate a law, civil or moral. To transgress a divine law, is sin. Legislators should not transgress laws of their own making.(Webster.) Jesus was showing them a question for a question, as if a hand for a hand, an eye for an eye. I'll will answer your question, if first you answer mine, which is the greater the offering or, the alter on which the offering lays upon. Col 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, Rudiments; The New Testament use of the word, where it always occurs in the plural, is as follows: In 2Pe_3:10, 2Pe_3:12, “The elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat,” that is, the physical elements of the world and of the heavens are to be consumed, or subjected to change, by means of fire. In Heb_5:12, the King James Version “Ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God.” This means that the Hebrew Christians had not made the advance expected, in grace and in the knowledge of God, but were in need of instruction in the elementary truths of the Christian faith. (ISBE) In Col 2:20 we see again the why of life as a Christian. The ISBE states that the word element or elements are different depending upon the way the word is used. We look at this why question with varied interest. The Rudiments (Literal proposition, or Basic elements.) of Christianity are filled with, 1. The Physical. 2. The Changing. 3. The first Principles. 4. The Knowledge of God. And 5. The Instruction in the Elementary Truths, or Basic Truth of God. 1. The Physical. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. “this corruptible.” The physical and mental attributes of mortal, sinful flesh. “put on incorruption.” The elements of righteousness and Godliness. After this change, Why, then do we need to die? After all, are not we then saved, when we accept Jesus as Saviour? The beginning of the answer starts with 1Co 15:50, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.” “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.” The kingdom of God, is not physical, as we perceive physical, it is spiritual, and there for a mortal body cannot pass between here and there. Why is this so? Because we, as human, cannot understand the inner workings of God and His Kingdom. In Revelations we see just a small description of Heaven, Jesus also gave us just parables or spiritual insight into His wonderful kingdom. Then will we be physical? Not as we understand or know physical. 2. The Changing. Why, must we change, from physical to spiritual and from sinner to saint? (A) from sinner to saint? The requirement to enter into Gods Family is set at the beginning of the beginning, from everlasting to everlasting. We must be “AS” God. Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (perfect=“having reached the end,” “term,” “limit,” hence, “complete,” “full,” ISBE.) 1Pe 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Lev 20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. Lev 20:7-8; Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God. And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you. Amo 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? We have a mark, a high calling, a goal, to be as Christ, to go on to perfection as God requires, but remember that perfection will not take place upon this earth nor within this life but the next. There is no man that can say that he hasn't sinned, nor can any say that he is good, or is perfect. (B) from physical to spiritual; Part of this answer lies within 1Th 4:16-17; For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Just remember, “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.” Those that have not been forgiven of these acts are still in the flesh and not in the spirit, Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, dogs, sorcerers, whoremongers, murderers, and idolaters, lier's, the unrighteous, effeminate(Homosexuality.), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, and such like. End pt. 1. ars (TSK)Gal 5:21 - drunkenness: Deu_21:20; Luk_21:34; Rom_13:13; 1Co_5:11, 1Co_6:10; Eph_5:18; 1Th_5:7 revellings: 1Pe_4:3 that they: Isa_3:11; Rom_2:8, Rom_2:9, Rom_8:13; 1Co_6:9, 1Co_6:10; Eph_5:5, Eph_5:6; Col_3:6; Rev_21:27; Rev_22:15 inherit: Mat_25:34; 1Co_6:10, 1Co_15:50; Eph_5:5
The Unanswered Question. pt.2. The Unanswered Question. pt.2. 1. The Physical. 2. The Changing. 3. The first Principles. 4. The Knowledge of God. And 5. The Instruction in the Elementary Truths, or Basic Truth of God. 3. The First Principles. The Laws of Man and the Laws of God, why are they separate? Adultery, lier's, idolatry are just a few of the laws that man does not enforce, we cannot lock out a lier neither can we truly point to one, this is a difficult task. Just as the old saying;”You can Lock out a thief but you cant lock out a lier, and another, A Lock was made for the honest man and not a thief. The First Principles of a Christian is to know, what laws are lawful to righteousness and which are not. The Apostle Paul was also in this query and looked for the answer. 1Co 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 1Co 10:23-24; All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. Adultery used to be punished by death and now you very seldom even hear of it, being made a common thing among this generation, its become normal and not the exception. Idolatry was destroyed by many of Gods ministers and Kings but today we see it in many home towns, states and even in restaurants where we take our families to eat. The shall nots of the Ten Commandments have been the founding Laws of this nation and have been incorporated around the world, but we see that the “shall nots” have been replaced by the Why Nots. Many of the Ten Commandments are societal laws and others Religious Laws. The Religious Laws under the Mosaic Law have been fulfilled and have been replaced by the Law of Grace under Jesus as Head of the Church. Exo 20:3-23; Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. Thou shalt not covet. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Honour thy father and thy mother: Exo 20:23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. 4. The Knowledge of God. The knowledge of God escapes many. These are those people that do not understand the Basic elements of Salvation and Scripture. Why must we continue to learn, why must we continue to attend church, why must we continue to live in a Christ like manner? These elements are the foundation of Christianity and not the man made rules and failures of misinterpretation of Scripture. In 1st.Pe 4:18 we see that a Christian must be in tune with the will of God and His statutes and Commandments, for even we are or will be scarcely saved. “And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” This is knowledge; Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (Webster.) Regeneration, In theology, new birth by the grace of God; that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart. Renewing, Making new again; repairing; re-establishing; repeating; reviving; renovating. 1Co 15:1-2; Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. Why must any person believe and be saved? Rom 3:19-23; Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; By the establishment of the Mosaic Law all Jews became guilty of sin and by the establishment of Governmental, Law we all became guilty of sin. So when one understands the law they are there-by convinced of sin. “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight”, saying that the Mosaic Law of Sacrifice, after Jesus could not justify any man, Jew nor Greek. “for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” Without the law being established, spiritually and physically, we would not know what sin was but sense the law, we all know and are without excuse. Rom 3:24 - justified: Rom_4:16, Rom_5:16-19; 1Co_6:11; Eph_2:7-10; Tit_3:5-7 through: Rom_5:9; Isa_53:11; Mat_20:28; Eph_1:6, Eph_1:7; Col_1:14; 1Ti_2:6; Tit_2:14; Heb_9:2-14; 1Pe_1:18, 1Pe_1:19; Rev_5:9, Rev_7:14 5. The Instruction in the Elementary Truths, or Basic Truth of God. 2Ti 3:16-17; All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. There are no thoughts that have been, nor will be, hidden from God. Weather you believe or weather you do not believe. The Bible answers the “Why” question, time after time. There is no knowledge hid, that would hinder anyone from believing in Christ being the Son of God. The Elementary Truth is simple, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Mat 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. ars. Will there be Faith? In the past few days, I have spent time at the Kings Daughters Heart center. My dad had a heart attack and went under surgery for three by passes. The doctors stated that he should not be alive. We wonder many times why bad things happen to good people, the first thought that comes into my mind is what Jesus said about himself and the world in general, “ Why do you call me Good? There is none good except the Father.” This is an eye opening statement that we need to remember more often. Many times when a loved one is ill or in danger of life, many think of the doctors and nurses first,”What are you going to do, will they get better, will they survive?” This, I use to say before I became a Christian, I always looked for man to answer all my questions, thinking that they had control of many things. This is not to say that doctors haven't their place in the workings of the Father, but rather they are not to receive more attention that God. As with my dad, the first thing that I and my wife had to do was to call upon God for His will concerning him and second, get in-touch with those of like faith to start praying. Many missed the miracle that I am referring to. The Doctors stated that dad should not be alive, total blockages and one vessel barely hanging on . There was no physical explanation why he was alive. But to receive glory for my dads continued life God rerouted some of the vesicles to maintain his heart. The second was the by pass surgery, God directed the surgeons how to repair the heart and even directed the surgeon to replace one of the new veins with another, new one, making the surgery better. I thanked the doctor for his efforts and gave all the praise, Honor and Glory to God, whom was deserving of all, for it was God that gave my dad life as he used the surgeons hands. What we are talking about is Faith, Faith in God and His Son and Faith in His word. Will there be faith when Jesus returns or will mankind seek out another? Lets read; Luke 18:6-19; And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless (Not the less; notwithstanding; that is, in opposition to any thing, or without regarding it.)when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? I regard myself as nothing in this life, a poor man with rich mans dreams, dreams of a better world to come and a home that I will never have to move from. But I consider My God is all in all, the first that I turn to, and the last standard of security. Faith is a substance, not to be taken likely. Not to be ignored or misused. We ask many time for things that are unnecessary in our lives, and its not that God doesn't want you to ask, but we must give Him, the Praise and Glory, we cannot let the blessings of God become more important that the one who gave them to us. Can we denigh the word of God just because we don't understand it? No. Just because we don't understand, what God has in mind for us, it shouldn't stop us from having faith and belief. Jam 5:14-15; Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. “the prayer of faith” Are we to say that Faith is only for those at the year of our Lord, the prophets and the Disciples of Christ? God, forbid, for as He has done for the elect before our time, He, being of no respect of persons, will do the same for us. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Mans faith in God is becoming a scarce thing. Many are too preoccupied with the events of the world, worrying about everything except looking toward Heaven and maintaining their Faith. When we get away from Gods word, we become ignorant of the prophecy's and lessons that were given to us from the Father. Many of our daily worries and dark times, would be illuminated if we would just start, again, reading the word. When we have the answers for the events that bother us, they will no longer be a surprise to us. Can we move a mountain, a hill, a mound or even a worry? By all means, yes. Mat 17:19-20; Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. “nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Where did God say that this was meant only for the Disciples? Where in Gods word did it state that Faith and acts of Faith were stopped at the end of the Four Gospels, or even Revelations? Nowhere. Faith is a gift that is to be used to secure your salvation and to testify of the Greatness of God. Jesus stated that He Honored His Father, and we should also, by using our faith. 1Co 12:7 But the manifestation(The act of disclosing what is secret, unseen or obscure; discovery to the eye or to the understanding; the exhibition of any thing by clear evidence; display; as the manifestation of God's power in creation, or of his benevolence in redemption.) of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. The Bible tells us that we are given by the Spirit, the word of wisdom and knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits (Having power to discern; capable of seeing, discriminating, knowing and judging; sharp-sighted; penetrating; acute; as a discerning man or mind.), divers kinds of tongues and the interpretation of tongues, And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils. Without this power given to us by the Holy Spirit, it would be hunting season and a field day for Satan to destroy us all. Our faith in Christ and in Gods word is the Power that binds. Work on growing in your Faith and don't let Jesus ask you, “Will you have Faith when I return?” 1Co 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. Luke 18:8 - he will: Psa_46:5, Psa_143:7-9; 2Pe_2:3, 2Pe_3:8, 2Pe_3:9 when: Mat_24:9-13, Mat_24:24; 1Th_5:1-3; Heb_10:23-26; James 5:1-8
Biblical discrepancies? pt.1. Many times I read of people believing that there are discrepancies with in the Bible. Many times they show examples that almost are, but all discrepancies are very easy to explain. Lets read a view from a reader. Quote.“No explanations for Biblical discrepancies.” Matthew 16:28 says, "...some standing here ... shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Only Mormons say some of these people still live. Jesus obviously hasn't "come in his kingdom" as described in Matthew 16:27-28. A book Billy Graham gave me mentions contradictions in the Bible and tries to explain them. Judas died by hanging or falling. Jesus met one or two blind men at Jericho. Paul's pals did or didn't hear Yahweh speak to him. More are listed. The book says Matthew credits Jeremiah with a prophecy made by Zechariah. It asks where Cain found a wife. "The Book of Jubilees" says he wed his sister, but that's incest. There's no proper answer.” Unquote. The first thing we must address is, no man can say that he knows all about the Bible. No matter how long you've been reading or studying, there is always something new to learn, every time that you read the Scriptures. Lets take the first comment and see if there is a discrepancy. Quote.”Matthew 16:28 says, "...some standing here ... shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Only Mormons say some of these people still live. Jesus obviously hasn't "come in his kingdom" as described in Matthew 16:27-28.”Unquote. This verse is speaking of the sign of the times. Is Matthew 16:28, prophecy? Yes. We see two different statement within this verse. 1.The beginning of Gods Kingdom upon the earth and 2. The signs of the end days. By discerning the signs of the times?. Mat_10:23, Mat_24:3, Mat_24:27-31, Mat_24:42, Mat_26:64; Mar_13:26; Luk_18:8, Luk_21:27, Luk_21:28 There are two Kingdoms spoke of in this verse. The beginning of Gods Kingdom upon the earth, is speaking of the renewal of mankind unto the acceptance of God under the New Testament, Law. This law now included all mankind and not just the Jewish State of Israel. Those that were in attendance at this time Jesus spoke, did see the beginning of Gods Kingdom being set upon the Earth. How? The Church. 1. The beginning of Gods Kingdom. Remember there was not a Church when Jesus was alive, for He was the Church. After His death and resurrection the Church, as we know it was established by the Disciples and Apostles. Jesus was, and still is, the mediator of the new covenant Church. What was the Name of Christ Church? “The Church of the First Born.” Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 1Co 7:17 But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. Tit 1:4-5; To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee: Act 14:22-23; Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. Knowing the definitions of these words is also helpful, weather it be the English or Greek translations. Confirming; Making firm or more firm; strengthening; ratifying; giving additional evidence or proof; establishing. The key word in Confirming is,”Establishing.” Exhorting; Inciting to good deeds by words or arguments; encouraging; counseling. The key word in Exhorting is, “Inciting “, 1.The act of inciting or moving to action; incitement. 2. Incitement; incentive; motive; that which excites to action; that which rouses or prompts. And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed. ORDA'INED, Appointed; instituted; established; invested with ministerial or pastoral functions; settled. "...some standing here ... shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." Mat 16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? “the signs of the times.” The establishment of the new Church Covenant and the fulfillment of the Old Testament Covenant. 2. The signs of the end days. The upcoming Kingdom. This earth, despite clames by some that the earth will be replaced by a new one, will be eternal and without end. Their assumption can be explained in another study. So then, Gods Kingdom will and is come upon this earth. Only those things that are unrighteous will be destroyed, along with many parts of this earth. This is to try to redeem others before final judgment. “will and is.” is speaking of the establishment of gods Kingdom on the earth by the Introduction of the New Testament Covenant. “Is”, is speaking of the Millennial Reign of Christ upon the Earth, siting upon the Throne of David in Jerusalem. Millennial; A thousand-year period of holiness mentioned in Revelation 20, during which Jesus and his faithful followers are to rule on earth. Key words for the Eternal Kingdom upon the earth are; eternity, expectation, fate, futurity, hereafter, infinity. The final kingdom is described by the word,"infinity” “endlessness, beyond, boundlessness, continuity, continuum, endless time, eternity, expanse, extent, immeasurable, immensity, infinitude, limitlessness, myriad, perpetuity, sempiternal, ubiquity, unlimited, vastitude, vastness.” When we take just one verse and try to interpret the meaning we err concerning the total truth. Remember that Jesus told us to compare scripture with scripture. That is what I am going to do, compare Matthew 16:18 with others. Here Jesus speaks of future events. Mat 16:27 “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” These other references also help explain these discrepancies, please take a little time to study these. Mat 16:27 -the Son: Mat_24:30, Mat_25:31, Mat_26:64; Mar_8:38, Mar_14:62; Luk_9:26, Luk_21:27, Luk_22:69 with: Mat_13:41, Mat_13:49; Dan_7:10; Zec_14:5; 2Th_1:7-10; Jud_1:14 and then: Mat_10:41, Mat_10:42; Job_34:11; Psa_62:12; Pro_24:12; Isa_3:10,Isa_3:11; Jer_17:10; Jer_32:19; Eze_7:27; Rom_2:6; 1Co_8:8; 2Co_5:10; Eph_6:8; 1Pe_1:17; Rev_2:23, Rev_22:12-15 Dan 7:9-10; I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. So now you can see that in Matthew 16:28 there are no Biblical discrepancies. In Part 2 we will look at the wife of Cain. ars.
Biblical discrepancies? pt.2. In part 2 we will look at the death of Judas Iscariot, and Jesus met one or two blind men at Jericho? (A) Quote; “A book Billy Graham gave me mentions contradictions in the Bible and tries to explain them. Judas died by hanging or falling.”Unquote. The main thing we must look at is the translations of words from Greek and Hebrew to English. There are some words that don't translate well into English, but God in His wisdom, gave us the translation that we could understand. By comparing words with words and scripture with Scripture, we are able to come up with the proper interpretation and meaning of each passage. Act 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. Mat 27:5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. Barnes states of Acts 1:8; Quote; “And falling headlong - The word here rendered “headlong” - πρηνής prēnēs (Latin “pronus,” whence our English word “prone”) - means properly “bent forward, head-foremost”; and the idea is, that his position in hanging himself was such that when the cord broke he fell headlong, or fell forward on his face. This can easily be supposed if he threw himself from a rock or elevated place. He first hanged himself, and then fell and was burst asunder.”Unquote. In this interpretation that are a couple of events that take place at the suicide of Judas. 1. The hanging itself and 2. The breaking of the cloth used causing his body to fall to the rocks below. This mistake in hanging did occur many times in our old west, when a man had to be hung twice because of the breaking of the rope. In an article written over two thousand years ago, a report was written that stated Satan, when he had entered into Judas, came upon the body of Judas and cast him upon the rocks to disfigure the body of Judas. Weather this is accurate or not is any bodys guess. “Interpreters have suggested,” says Professor Hackett (Illustrations of Scripture, pp. 275, 276), “that Judas may have hung himself on a tree near a precipice over the valley of Hinnom, and that, the limb or rope breaking, he fell to the bottom, and was dashed to pieces by the fall. (B) Jesus met one or two blind men at Jericho? First we will list all references to Jericho in The New Testament and Look for key words in the verses. 1.Mar 10:46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. 2. Mat 20:29-30; And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David. 3.Luke 18:35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 4. Luke 19:1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. When we look closer at these verses we see that there were multi able, that were blind that Jesus healed. 1. Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus. 2. Two blind men sitting by the way side. 3. A certain blind man.( A man that may or may not have given His name.) Is this a contradiction of the Scripture? No. When we look even closer at these verses we see again the answer 1.And they came to Jericho, Came(Come); to arrive to enter into . 2.And as they departed from Jericho, Depart; To go or move from, To divide or separate, the act of going away. 3. as he was come nigh. 4. entered and passed through . Words, words that must be looked at carefully, not allowing our zest for learning to cause us to read things into the scripture that are not there. Can you see now that there were actually a number of different people that he healed of Blindness and there is no contradiction of these statements? end pt 2. In part 3 we will look at the Wife of Cain. ars.
Biblical discrepancies? pt3. Biblical Discrepancies? pt.3. (C) Quote; It asks where Cain found a wife. "The Book of Jubilees" says he wed his sister, but that's incest. There's no proper answer.” Unquote. We will see the answer. Lets understand first that not all books that say they are from God, are. The Christian faith has been under attack for over 2,000 years and will be until the end. Many other Books such as, The Di Vinci Code, The Book of Mary, The Book of Enoch, have no bases nor fact of the Bible. Jesus warned us about Levin of others that refuse to believe in Him and His word. Rev 22:18-19; For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. The Book of Jubilees cannot be added to the Bible to understand the meaning nor history of the Bible. The Book of Jubilees. The contents of the Book of Jubilees deal with the facts and events related in the canonical Book of Genesis, enriched by a wealth of legends and stories which had arisen in the course of centuries in the popular imagination of the Jewish people, and written from the rigid Pharisaic point of view of the author and of his age; and as the author seeks to reproduce the history of primitive times in the spirit of his own day, he deals with the Biblical text in a very free fashion. It is somewhat difficult to determine the particular Judaistic school its author belonged to; he openly denies the resurrection of the body; (This statement declares the entire book false as being un-usable to understand the Bible, for Jesus resurrected.)he does not believe in the written tradition; he does not reprobate animal sacrifices, etc. If the author belonged to any particular school he must have been in all probability a Pharisee (Hasidaean) of the most rigid type of the time of John Hyrcanus, in whose reign scholars generally agree the book was written (135-105 B.C.). Dr. Headlam suggests that the author was a fervent opponent of the Christian Faith. (Catholic Encyclopedia.) Lets read a little and know, where Cain's wife came from. Gen 4:15-17; And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. First we must look for key words, here are the three in these verses.(1.Therefore whosoever. 2.lest any finding him, 3.dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.) The first two indicate, that other people besides Adam, Eve and Cain were in exsistance. The last indicates where Cain went to, the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. Where is the land of Nod? Conjecture is useless as to the region intended. The ideas of China, India, etc., which some have entertained, are groundless. The territory was evidently at some distance, but where is now undiscovered.(ISBE) This country or kingdom of Nod was already a material place where Cain went to, there He met his wife and bore a son. So, we can say that, Cain never married his sister. We see that Eve, the mother of Cain, never had another child until after Cain had been banished and met his wife, for the Bible states that eve bore another son, and not a daughter at this time. Gen 4:25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew. Where then did the people of Nod come from? God had created them, as He created Adam and Eve. Remember, the life span of man, at this time was extremely long, and who can say that God did not create other people? No one. Many people would like to limit the power of God and dictate what God can and cannot do. This is not being faithful to the Power which is God nor to His word. Many of the so-called discrepancies are just that, so-called. If we read and study, as jesus directed us to do, we will find that there is no discrepancies in Scripture at all, just unanswered questions. Many say that we can know all about the scripture and that there is nothing hidden from us. This is not so, and I will give you examples. 1Co 2:6-8; Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. Rev 10:3-5; And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not. And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, These next references prove that not all of the scripture will be reveled unto us, until the end. Seal up: Deu_29:29; Isa_8:16, Isa_29:11; Dan_8:26, Dan_12:4, Dan_12:9 Ars.
The Brokenhearted. The Brokenhearted come from many walks of life. We see many that are brokenhearted because of , death of a loved one, financial problems, lost loves and separation from family for one reason or another. Many people feel that they are alone and that no one else really understands them or their problems. Many people try to help those that are brokenhearted but really lack the understanding needed to help. How do you tell a mother that just lost a child that it will be all right or that you know what they are going thru? How do you tell someone that a lost love is a good thing and that they will get over it, or how about the man that is deep in debt that, he will be able to over come this and support his family? The brokenhearted are full of sorrow and most times in a state of mild or even severe depression. Depression makes a person weak and vulnerable to all manner of suggestions from Satan. The greatest example of deep depression in Scripture is located in Mat 27:4-5; Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. Acts 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. You can't relieve the pain with idle words or sympathy, for sympathy is not what they need, they need answers. Luke 4:18-19; The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. People who feel their spiritual bankruptcy and helplessness are brokenhearted. Psa_69:20, Psa_69:21; Isa_61:1; Luk_4:18 the King James Version; “of a broken heart,” Psa_34:18; “broken in heart,” Psa_147:3): Contrite; Crushed, broken or bruised in spirit. For the brokenhearted, a true friend will tell them of the Love of God for them and His delivering power over all circumstances. How Jesus came to heal people just as they are, never leaving and always caring for them. They need to know that Jesus truly understand them and their feeling of helplessness. On the death of a loved one, Jesus knows the sorrow; John 11:33-36; Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, God knows those that are brokenhearted and knows their sorrow, “Come to me, He says, and I will give you rest.” Isa 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word. God gave us the Holy Spirit to comfort the brokenhearted, He is always with you and Loves you. Jesus came to the brokenhearted and the poor, He came to save that which was lost. Isa 61:1-4; The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; God is willing to heal and bind up the broken hearted. He is willing to trade your tears for joy, your mourning for laughter, your poor state for riches. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. On financial problems; The meek shall certainly inherit the earth. Jesus came to proclaim liberty to the captives(Being captive or hostage to worldly interest and greed.), and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Bound by mistakes and desires that all went wrong. A limit by which any excursion is restrained; the limit of indulgence or desire; as, the love of money knows no bounds. Isa 61:5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. Mat 7:7-11; Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? God is willing to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, life for death, mourning for dancing, sackcloth for gladness and the eternal for the mortal. “The World is but a Stage." Have you ever read the words,”The World is but a Stage and all men are but players.? This is as close to the truth as you can get. This world is not our eternal home, it was changed when Adam and Eve Transgressed the Laws of God. We are in a foreign land, taking our lives one day at a time., and making choices that will affect our true destiny. This world is a changing room for eternity. We get up, go to work, come home, eat dinner and go to bed. The next day we start all over again. There is more to this life, than most think. It doesn't have to be a dreary day by day exsistance. Where does all this work get you? Without a vision of the future, a man will never be content with his exsistance. We spend our years working to give it to others. We save, hopeing to have abundance, we buy, hopeing to gain value, we seek opportunity, hopeing to better ourselves. We are as the grass of the field, and the flower in great heat. We all, rich and poor, start to die, at the moment of birth. Our time here on this earth is fleeting and short, we seek to gain prominence and notoriety but at the end it avails us nothing. David says that this is vanity. Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Gen_23:4, Gen_47:9; 1Ch_29:14, 1Ch_29:15; Psa_39:12, Psa_119:19; 1Pe_1:17, 1Pe_2:11) 1Ch 29:15 For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. (Job_14:2; Psa_90:9, Psa_102:11, Psa_144:4; Ecc_6:12; Isa_40:6-8; Jam_4:14) “our days on the earth are as a shadow.” how many people do you know from history, a few, a number, are they what man calls famous? How many common people can you remember? The prominence of man only last at the time of that mans life. If this world last another hundred years, how many people, that you know today, will people remember? What is my point? The point is made clear in Scripture, Lets read a little; 1Pe 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: Mans glory fades from generation to generation, the rich die, knowing not where their substance goes. The poor are ignored in this life but have also a life to recall in the next. Mans importance to man is only a play that they are dressed to perform. Mans importance to mankind is short lived and then he is forgotten. In Psalms 90:10 we see that our life is short 70 years by the will of God, 80 if we are stronger. “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” As our years grow, our sorrow grows also. The older we get the more pain and delusion that comes upon us. We are lead, where we wish not to go, we are clothed by others, that we do not recognize, and fed by many strangers, who care not for us. Psa 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told. This is very true, a tale that is told until the story grows dim and then forgotten. Psa 89:47-48; Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain? Vain; Empty; worthless; having no substance, value or importance. (1 Pet 1.) What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah. Has God created man for nothing, has He created man to only exist in one life time then fade away into obscurity? Will there be no rememberence of the good times shared, the glory, worship and obedience that some men have given to God? Will there be no rememberence of the evil done, the murder, the robbery, the atrocities that other men have committed, will there be no retribution against the evil that was in man? What is this play that we dress for each day? Does it have a point, a purpose, an end? Psa 39:5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. The word Selah means to pause, to ponder, to think upon this thing. Understand the meaning. Mans life is short as, Koheleth, the name by which Solomon, the author of Ecclesiastes, speaks of himself, that 132 years of his life, were nothing to God, a short space of time. I wish to leave you with this thought; Ecc 4:8 There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail. Psa 39:6 - a vain show: Heb. an image, There is but the semblance of being. he appeareth for a little, and then vanisheth. 1Co_7:31; Jam_4:14 surely: Ecc_1:14, Ecc_2:17, Ecc_2:18, Ecc_2:20, Ecc_2:21, Ecc_4:7, Ecc_4:8, Ecc_6:11, Ecc_6:12, Ecc_12:8, Ecc_12:13; Isa_55:2; Luk_10:40-42, Luk_12:20, Luk_12:21, Luk_12:29; 1Pe_5:7 he heapeth: Psa_49:10, Psa_49:11; Job_27:16, Job_27:17; Pro_13:22, Pro_23:5, Pro_27:24; Ecc_2:8, Ecc_2:18-21, Ecc_2:26; Ecc_5:14; Luk_12:20, Luk_12:21; Jam_5:3 Psa 39:5 - Behold: Psa_90:4, Psa_90:5, Psa_90:9, Psa_90:10; Gen_47:9; Job_7:6, Job_9:25, Job_9:26, Job_14:1, Job_14:2; Jam_4:14 as nothing: Psa_89:47; 2Pe_3:8 verily: Psa_39:11, Psa_62:9, Psa_144:4; Ecc_1:2, Ecc_2:11; Isa_40:17 (a vapor: Jam_1:10; Job_7:6, Job_7:7, Job_9:25, Job_9:26, Job_14:1, Job_14:2; Psa_39:5, Psa_89:47, Psa_90:5-7, Psa_102:3; Isa_38:12; 1Pe_1:24, 1Pe_4:7; 1Jo_2:17)
Social Security. pt.1. There are many ways that mankind try's to be secure in his future. We look to Social Security here in the United States, to off set the cost of living with our retirement. But what is Social Security? Lets break it down and look at what the Bible has to say about it. Lets first look at the definition of each word. 1. Social; Disposed to unite in society. Ready or disposed to mix in friendly converse; companionable. Pertaining to society; relating to men living in society. or to the publice as an aggregate body; as social interests or concerns; social pleasures; social benefits; social happiness; social duties. 2. Security ;Protection; effectual defense or safety from danger of any kind. Freedom from fear or apprehension; confidence of safety; whence, negligence in providing means of defense. Being bound with one or more sureties in a recognizance to the king or state. The true meaning of Social Security is harsh in light of this world and the uncertainty of it. Social Security is supposed to be an aid to the individual at the age he can no longer work. The first meaning, comes to light as a wake up call for all, lets look a little closer; (A) Social interests, concerns; pleasures, benefits, happiness, and social duties. As an outsider looking in we see that these things call social are for but a few. The ones that have worked all their life to pay into Social activities and to be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor, have very few or little of these benefits. The retirement is no longer a guarantee to any, so the social security of all men is at risk. The social, interests, concerns and duties have been replaced by the worry of, buying food and medication for illness that come upon all mankind at a later age. Securing heat for the winter and a fan in the summer. These are society's problems instead of being society's heritage and linage. These people become a burden upon society are are mostly ignored. John 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. Where are the Social interests, concerns; pleasures, benefits, happiness, and social duties, to the elderly of this nation, where has the compassion for your mother and father of your youth gone, where is the concerns of a nation whom these people gave all? In Matthew we see the true meaning of family;, Matthew 12:50 “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Honour: Mat_19:19; Exo_20:12; Lev_19:3; Deu_5:16; Pro_23:22; Eph_6:1 He: Exo_21:17; Lev_20:9; Deu_21:18-21, Deu_27:16; Pro_20:20, Pro_30:17 Lets read Matthew 15:4-9; For God commanded, saying, “Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,” “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” Are the commandments and doctrines of man, a society that has forgotten the elderly, the mother, father, sister, brother and others that once were young? Pro 23:19-22; “Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.” “Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.” Listen to you father that gave you life in your mother womb. Don't hate your mother when she is old and in need of help. Don't let this world and all its faults, drag you into forsaking your parents. Your money is corrupt and your pride is a snare. Your high looks and fine clothing will turn to morning and sack cloth. hear: Pro_4:1-4, Pro_5:1, Pro_5:2, Pro_6:20, Pro_30:17, Pro_31:1; Lev_19:3; Deu_21:18-21; 1Sa_2:25; 2Ti_1:5 Pro 1:8-9; “My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.” But what is the opposite of this commandment? If you refuse to hear the instruction of your father and the law of your mother? Confusion and ever evil work, the destruction of love and honour with the family, it becomes a blight upon society. Social; Disposed to unite in society. Ready or disposed to mix in friendly converse; companionable. This description has failed to exist within this end days nation. We are all at the mercy of mans lack of compassion. We take all the social aspects of this word and cause it to become, a lust for war and the money to pay for it. Wars and rumors of wars will and are coming to pass. We cannot depend upon governments, laws nor unions of nations to stop it. Is social security really the thing that we should depend upon? End pt. 1. Part 2. will look at “Security”. ars.
Social Security. pt.2. Security. It seams today that everyone has an answer to what is called Social Security. The biggest one is taking another chance with it, “Lets put it into the stock market.” That's a good idea, lets put it in the most unstable market there is and cross our fingers that we wont need as much food, clothing and care, when we reach the elder years of our lives. Lets look at the definition of Security; Protection; effectual defense or safety from danger of any kind. Freedom from fear or apprehension; confidence of safety. Being bound with one or more sureties in a recognizance to the king or state. Is what we call Security really what we have, or is it a dream or a hope of things, that may or may not take place? Is what we depend upon always there when we have a need? Isa 2:20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; Here we see in Isaiah 2:20, that mans wealth will not always be worth even carrying about. The value of even costly metals will be nothing. The economy will fall and the financial institutions will close. So then the Protection, Freedom from fear or apprehension, the effectual defense or safety from danger of any kind and confidence with man will no longer prove valuable, but rather a hindrance. Our sureties in a king or state, will be misplaced. Man cannot assure safety, nor security in any shape, manner or form. For man is a lier and the truth lies not within him. Man is a deceiver, deceiving and being deceived. Isa 2:22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of? Why do so many put their trust in man? What is it that keeps people from turning to one who not only can promise but also deliver upon these promises? Without a doubt, we are in the end days of man, the end days of gentile rule. This is all according to the truth that Jesus and God gave us in scripture. (Isa_66:12, Isa_66:19; Dan_9:27, Dan_12:7; Mal_1:11; Rom_11:25) We see proof of this in these next two verses; Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. The times of the gentiles spoken of here, is the times that the gentile race of peoples will have rule over the world, as of, the United States, Russia, China, The European Union and the United Nations. Jewish rule will come as in the person of Jesus. “For he is a Jew inwardly not of the outward appearance.” We see that our dependence, totally, upon Social Security will be dashed to pieces at a coming time. In Jer 17:5, God tells us plainly not to trust in man; Thus saith the LORD; “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” How many times has this nation gone into recession, depression, how many time has the stock market fallen, and how many banks gone bankrupt? How many times have you had to make a decision on weather to buy food or heating oil to keep you warm? This should not be so. How many of you have been turned down at doctors offices or hospitals because you didn't have insurance or couldn't pay for services. How many time has your social security been cut, making decisions of life harder? Where do you turn when all turn away? Psa 62:8-12; Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah. Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God. Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work. Social Security is a short term fix for a long term problem. Mankind cares not for anyone except himself. Those of us that believe in God, conduct our lives dependent upon God and His Wisdom, Knowledge, Power and Mercy for those who believe. We must all start putting our trust in God. Politicians tell you only what you want to hear, deceiving you and the populace. Man will tell you half truths to get you to act according to their will. Turning the truth into a lie. So is, Being bound with one or more sureties in a recognizance to the king or state, really where you want to put your social security? But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; Isn't it time to put your social life and your security, within the Hands of God? ars. The Trinity The Trinity of Scripture is a controversial subject among many in the Christian Community. I would estimate that (90% of the Christian Community believes in the Trinity.) What is the Trinity? The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost(Spirit). We all know about the Father and The Son. So lets look at The Holy Ghost. The Bible calls Him by many different names, 1. The Holy Ghost. The Bible in the New Testament, list the Name of Holy Ghost 89 times, starting with, Matthew 1:18 and ending with, Jude 1:20 and 2. The Holy Spirit. 10 times beginning with, Luke 11:13 and ending with, 1Thessalonians 4:8. 3. The Spirit of truth. 4 times, John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13 and 1John 4:6. 4. The Comforter. 3 Times John 14:26, 15:26 and 16:7. This is not to say that other examples are not listed but these others are spiritually discerned. The Most controversial scripture in the Bible concerning the Trinity is found in, Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded the disciples to; “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” In this verse above all others, are the four words that has brought about this controversy; “ in the name of “ Many teach that there is not a Trinity because of these four words. They believe that these words signify a separation of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I reject this teaching because of the multitudes of other verses that concur with the Trinity. What many don't understand is that The Holy Ghost(i.e. Spirit) is the Spirit of God. So how can God be separate from His own Spirit. Jesus gave us the answer to this when He stated in Matthew 10:20, “For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” This spirit that He spoke of was the Holy Spirit, “The Spirit of your Father.”1Th 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his “Holy Spirit.” Jesus stated that He was in the Father and the Father was in Him and He and the Father were one, so How being that Jesus and the Father being one disavows the Holy Spirit being one also with Jesus and the Father, making up the Trinity? We as human beings cannot separate our spirit from ourselves for the spirit within us is who we are. The Body is dead without the spirit. So there fore, God cannot be without His spirit, for God is spirit. Lets look at Numbers 6:26, The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Countenance is; to give assurance or courage to; to support; to aid by favor; to prevent from shame or dismay, to support; to encourage; to abet; to vindicate; by any means. Literally, the contents of a body; the outline and extent which constitutes the whole figure or external appearance. Appropriately, the human face; the whole form of the face, or system of features; visage. This is only done thru the Baptism in The Holy Ghost. As Jesus promised in, 1. John 14:16 Tells us that the Comforter, “abides with you for ever.”Denoting the Holy Ghost. 2. John 14:26 Tells us that the Comforter, “which is the Holy Ghost” Replaced Jesus as the director of all truths in Scripture and in life., Who reminds us of all things Jesus taught. 3. John 15:26 Tells us that the Comforter proceeds (Comes From) from the Father(God), he(A Person) shall testify(To affirm or declare solemnly for the purpose of establishing a fact. To bear witness to; to support the truth of by testimony.) of me(Jesus): 4. Acts 8:15-17 Tells us how the Spirit of God is Received by the laying on of Hands. Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) (Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.) 5. Gal 3:1-4 Tells us that the Spirit of God is received by Faith and not works. “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. Acts 8:15-17 is showing us that the third part of the Trinity is vital to the salvation of man after the Baptism. We are indowed with three diferent spirits, 1. Our Soul Spirit.(Who we are.) 2. The Spirit of Christ(We have the Mind of Christ.) and 3. The Holy Spirit.(Ghost.Who takes controll of our Physical man and keeps him under bonds to Christ.) Act 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye. So as far as an excuse to use Matthew 28:19, to say that there is no trinity, we see by compareing scripture with scripture we can prove that there is and always was and will be a Holy Trinity. ars (Refs. Mat-3:16, Mat-3:17; Gen-1:26; Num-6:24-27; Isa-48:16; 1Co-12:4-6; 2Co-13:14; Eph-2:18; 1Jo-5:7; Rev-1:4-6. end part 1. Part 2 will deal with, ” The Unholy Trinity.”
The Unholy Trinity. The Unholy Trinity In part 1 we saw proof of the Holy Trinity, in part 2 we will see the opposite. Satan in his anger wants to be as God for in scripture we see his resolve to be. The trinity that we are going to study is Satan, The Beast and The False Prophet. Isa 14:12-14; How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Why would there be an unholy trinity? For the anti-christ to deceive Israel, he must appear to fulfill prophecy of the messiah. To copy everything that Jesus accomplished. This way the anti-christ can deceive many into believing that he is the Christ. The unholy trinity uses deception and the stretching of the truth. The Bible lists the unholy trinity as; 1. The Dragon. The Dragon symbolizes Satan. In Scripture Satan has many names. God describes Satan here in Eze 28:11-19; Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; “Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” Satan [Heb.,= adversary], traditional opponent of God and humanity in Judaism and Christianity. In Scripture and literature the role of the opponent is given many names, such as Apolyon, Beelzebub, Semihazah, Azazel, Belial, and Sammael. Nicknames include the Tempter, Evil One, God of This World, Father of Lies, and Prince of Darkness. But in the New Testament it is Satan, with its Greek equivalent diabolos (the Devil), which came to dominate, displacing or demoting other names and figures. 2. The Beast. This is the Anti-Christ. Born a Jew in the similitude of Satan. This Beast copys all that the Messiah must do to fulfill prophecy. Other wise the Israelites would never accept him. He will promise a kingdom on earth, fulfilling the desires of the Sanhedrin and the Priest. 3. The False Prophet. This is a man of great religious authority. This is also a representation of false religion, a system that wants to gain control over all aspects of human worship. Revelations 13:2 And the beast (Anti-Christ ) which I saw was like unto a leopard ( with the characteristics of a Leopard. Swiftness.), and his feet were as the feet of a bear ( Symbolizing Strength.), and his mouth as the mouth of a lion ( Symbolizing fears-ness.): and the dragon (Satan) gave him his power, and his seat (preeminence), and great authority(Control). In Revelations 13:2, we see a copy of what God did for Jesus and Jesus for His disciples.(Ref; Mat 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them (disciples ) power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me (From God) in heaven and in earth. ) Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Here in 2nd Thessalonins 2:9 we see the separation of the Beast and Satan. “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.” Here in Revelations 16:13, we see the unholy trinity joined together. “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.” This unholy trinity has already began to develope. The spirit of anti-christ is already at work, His bodily form is expected at any time, Satan is rushing about, knowing that his time is short, and the false prophet is at work around the world, decieveing and being deceived. ars
He taketh away the first. Hebrews 10:9-10:9. He taketh away the first. Hebrews 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. (The word “first” here refers to sacrifices and offerings. He takes them away; that is, he shows that they are of no value in removing sin. He states their inefficacy, and declares his purpose to abolish them. That he may establish the second - To wit, the doing of the will of God. The two stand in contrast with each other, and he shows the inefficacy of the former, in order that the necessity for his coming to do the will of God may be fully seen. If they had been efficacious, there would have been no need of his coming to make an atonement. The Second is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the atonement of sin, once and for-all. God, as a person admits sin and a lost status, takes away the former man and establishes the second, eternal man. A change in attitude, structure, appearance and life style. God is willing to accept you as you are but He refuses to leave you as you were. The 1st. or Law, was limited to the House of Israel (The Jews), but the second was perfect, in that, There would be no more need for yearly sacrifices or a human priest-hood to establish laws of Rituals or conduce. The second was also perfect in fact because a human sacrifice was made. Not just any human tho but a perfect human in every aspect.) 1Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people(Gentiles), but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. (The law never forgave sins but only delayed them for another year.) Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.(Speaking of the Jews, for the Gentiles were never under the law.) Rom 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. (The righteousness of man is flawed so that they are not covered under any type of deliverance nor salvation. The righteousness of man was and still is a deception that leads to death of body and soul. The righteousness of man was and still is as a filthy rag, not only in the sight of God but also to those that believe in Christ and Gods word. God takes away you sin and gives you deliverance, He takes away your nakedness and clothes you, He takes away your fear and gives you peace, He takes away what you thought you knew and gives you knowledge of the ages. He takes away your unrighteousness and gives you His righteousness. He takes away you confusion and gives you a sound mind. He takes away the Law of Judgment and gives you the Law of Mercy. He takes away your Mortal life and gives you Eternal life.) 1Co 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come,(Jesus) then that which is in part (The Law)shall be done away. (Not done away with but replaced for the adding of the gentile race to be included in the plan of salvation.) 2Co 3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. (Both the Law of Judgment and the New Testament Law of Mercy were both Glorious. In that they accomplished what they were designed to do.) Hebrews 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. (This is the replacement of the old with the new.) Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. (Showing that man can fall from grace(Back-sliding) 1Co 9:21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. (Not trying to gain those that are not bound by the Mosaic Law with the Law but trying to gain them with the Law of Grace and Mercy.) Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. (The Bible tells us that without a Law there is not transgression of any Law and there-by, there is no sin.) Barnes states,”Nay, I had not known sin - The word translated “nay” alla means more properly but; and this would have more correctly expressed the sense, “I deny that the Law is sin. My doctrine does not lead to that; nor do I affirm that it is evil. I strongly repel the charge; but, notwithstanding this, I still maintain that it had an effect in exciting sins, yet so as that I perceived that the Law itself was good;” Romans 7:8-12. At the same time, therefore, that the Law must be admitted to be the occasion of exciting sinful feelings, by crossing the inclinations of the mind, yet the fault was not to be traced to the Law. The apostle in these verses refers, doubtless, to the state of his mind before he found that peace which the gospel furnishes by the pardon of sins. But by the law - Romans 3:20. By “the law” here, the apostle has evidently in his eye every law of God, however made known. He means to say that the effect which he describes attends all law, and this effect he illustrates by a single instance drawn from the Tenth Commandment. When he says that he should not have known sin, he evidently means to affirm, that he had not understood that certain things were sinful, unless they had been forbidden; and having stated this, he proceeds to another thing, to show the effect of their being thus forbidden on his mind. He was not merely acquainted abstractly with the nature and existence of sin, with what constituted crime because it was forbidden, but he was conscious of a certain effect on his mind resulting from this knowledge, and from the effect of strong, raging desires when thus restrained, Romans7:8-9.” “that he had not understood that certain things were sinful, unless they had been forbidden” Many try to say that at the time of Adam and Noah, there was sin, sin of adultery, fornication, polygamy and incest, but how can we justly say that the people at this period of time knew that these things were sin? Can we prove that at this time there was a Law of Judgment or a Law of Mercy? No. There is no Biblical proof that these people were under any Law. That is not to say that they, if they committed these things, will not be judged, but that they will be judged by their works, weather they were good or evil, this is according to Gods word. Man will not be judged by his sin but by his works. For we are all, all-ready judged and convicted of sin, ergo, we all must die a physical death. For sin is evil, but had God condoned evil in the days before the law was established? No. James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 1John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous. Here we see that even at the time before the law God had established evil from righteousness. The un-spoken Law of God. Here we see judgment established to all men from Adam to this present time. Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. 2Co 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. So we see that God has taken away our fear of judgment so long as we abide in His righteousness and that all men from Adam to the end will be judged by their works, which transgress the righteousness of God. ars.
ENFORCING THE RELEASE OF THE BLESSINGS OF GOD UPON YOUR LIFE Every child of God is an authorized beneficiary of the blessings of God. Every child of God is entitled to all the blessing of God. As a child of God, you are divinely authorized to partake of God’s blessing of long life, good health, financial abundance, promotion, deliverance, peace etc. It is the blessing of God that beautifies your life. It is the blessing of God that guarantees your fulfillment in life and until you are blessed by God, you can never be fulfilled in life. “For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.” Psalm 37:22 “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” Proverbs 10:22 Child of God, God your heavenly father is mindful of you thus He desires to bless you. God wants to bless with long life, He wants to bless you with riches, He wants to bless you with good health, and He wants to bless you with honor. The Bible says in Psalm 115:12; “The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.” Because God wants to bless you, He sent His Son Jesus Christ who died for your sins and to rose again for your salvation. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 Jesus, who is the Christ and the Son of the Living God, is the source of God’s blessings thus when you identify with Him as your Lord and Saviour, you will be identified with the blessings of God because He came so that through Him, we can be blessed by God. Through Jesus Christ, you can be healed (Jeremiah 33:6), delivered (Psalm 34:19), made rich (2 Corinthian 8:9), established (1 Peter 5:10) etc. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” Ephesians 1:3 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14 When you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is the LORD and confess with your mouth that God have raised him from the death on the third day, you are qualified for the blessings of God. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10 HOW TO ENFORCE THE RELEASE OF THE BLESSINGS OF GOD UPON YOUR LIFE: “And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.” Luke 1:45 It takes faith to enforce the release of the blessings of God upon your life. Until you believe you can never enforce the release of the blessings of God upon your life. WHAT IS FAITH? Faith simply means to believe in your heart with confidence and assurance that God is able to give you all need or desire in life. It is the powerful force drawn from the powerful word that produces the powerful proof. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:1, 6 Beloved, it is your faith in God that pleases God and commits Him to grant your desires in life. Note every good thing that you desire in life can only be given to you by God through His Son Jesus Christ (James 1:17) and there is nothing you need in life that is too difficult or impossible for God to do for you (Jeremiah 32:27, Luke 1:37). It is what you believe that God can do for you that determine what will do for you. When you believe that God can heal you, God will heal, when you believe that God can promote you, God will promote you, when you believe that God can prosper you, God will prosper you. If you need financial abundance, just believe with God’s help you will receive it and you will receive it, if you need healing, just believe that with God’s help you will receive it and it will be your portion. In essence it is what you believe that determine what you receive in life and the level of your faith in God is what determines the level of God’s blessing you enjoy. When you have big faith, you will enjoy big blessing and when you have small faith, you will enjoy small blessings. Your possession in life is based on your faith thus it is important to have faith in God so that you can possess your possession in life. “For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.” Romans 14:2 “And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.” Matthew 8:13 Friend, it is your faith in God that makes the impossible possible and when you believe in God every impossible situation will be made possible. “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Mark 9:23 “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 I don’t know what is challenging you presently in life but all I want to urge you to do is to believe that God can change your situation and when you believe, be assured that your situation will change and your situation will change because with God nothing shall be impossible (Luke 1:37). It is important that you learn to believe that you can receive everything you desire in life by God’s grace and never you doubt because with your faith , you enforce the release of the blessings of God upon your life but with your doubt you withhold the release of the blessings of God upon your life. HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR FAITH IN GOD: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 It takes the word of God for you to develop your faith in God. The Holy Bible which contains the word of God is all you need if your faith in God must be developed because it reviews the character of God and His promises for you and when you bring out your time to study, meditate , hear and read the word of God , you locate the promise of God concerning your challenges and when you locate this promises , It energizes you to put faith in God and when your faith in God is established , the promise of God is manifested in your life because the word of God is bank of God’s blessings. Your faith which is the powerful force is developed when you meditate, read, hear or study the word of God which is the powerful word and when you meditate, read, hear or study the word of God which is the powerful force then powerful proofs are manifested in your life. “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:15 CONCLUSION Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour who died , who was buried and who rose again on the third day is the source of God blessings. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." Ephesians 1:3 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 When you identified with Him as your Lord and Saviour by believing in your heart , receiving Him and confessing Him with your mouth , you are called into the kingdom of God as such you are entitled to all the blessings of God that comes through Jesus Christ by your faith in God and His word thus anything you desire God is permitted to give you if you believe ; "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." Ephesians 3:20 To this regards , Beloved if you have not identified with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour , I humbly request that you do the same because until you identify with Him as your Lord and Saviour , you can never be identified with the blessings of God who every good and perfect gift comes from ( James 1:17) . Your identification with the source of God's blessings is what guarantees your identification with the all the blessings of God which includes good health, prosperity, long life, promotion, peace etc. Therefore would you consider to identify with Jesus Christ , kindly follow the below steps and pray the prayer that follows accordingly and you will be identified with Jesus Christ and entitled to the blessings that comes from God through Him : (1) Acknowledge that you are sinner (Romans 3:23). (2) Repent of all your sins (Acts 3:19). (3) Confess your sins to Jesus Christ and forsake your sins (Proverb 28:13). (4)Ask Him for His mercy and forgiveness of all your sins (1 John 1:9). (5) Ask Him for the remission and cleansing of all your sins by His shed precious blood (1John 1:7). (6) Receive Him into your life as your Lord and Saviour ( John 1:12) (7)Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour ( Acts 16:31). (8) Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9-10) Kindly say the below prayer so that you can be saved and born again; DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, I THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE FOR ME, I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD WHO DIED FOR MY SINS , WAS BURIED AND ROSE AGAIN ON THE THIRD DAY BY THE POWER OF GOD FOR MY JUSTIFICATION. I COME TO YOU TODAY , I AM SINNER AND CANNOT HELP MYSELF. I REPENT OF ALL MY SINS AND CONFESS THEM TO YOU NOW. I OPEN UP THE DOOR OF MY LIFE TO YOU AND INVITE YOU INTO MY LIFE , PLEASE COME INTO MY LIFE, BE MERCIFUL UNTO ME, FORGIVE ME ALL MY SINS , CLEANSE ME FROM ALL MY FILTHY SINS AND DELIVER FROM SIN AND SATAN WITH YOUR SHED PRECIOUS BLOOD. TODAY I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE MY LORD AND SAVIOUR,I CONFESS THAT YOU ARE MY LORD AND SAVIOUR AND RECEIVE YOU INTO MY LIFE AS MY LORD AND MY SAVIOUR. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME! NOW I KNOW THAT I AM SAVED AND BORN AGAIN TO SERVE THE LIVING GOD AND TO PARTAKE OF ALL HIS BLESSINGS AMEN!.You are welcome to sign up for His Messages of Hope by contacting Him at michaelafrederick@yahoo.ca
Why am I Different? Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Sin is not the reason that many are afflicted at birth, for baby's have neither the knowledge of sin, nor of unrighteousness, nor the concept of good or evil. Romans 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) But I wish to look at the differences of the mind and attitudes of many. I want to delve into the reason that many live their life on the edge, taking chances and having to pay dearly for their choices. Differences that make one person more susceptible to the call of the Holy Spirit than others. Why am I different? Many things are allowed by God, so that the works of God should be made manifest and the purpose of God according to election might stand. The notions and motives of a heart at a distance from God only darkened it: a heart that had but one object, God and His glory, would be full of light.(Darby) But when thine eye is evil - When thou aimest at any thing else, thou wilt be full of folly, sin, and misery. The folly of the heart, the separation and or rejection from Gods call, allows Satan a foot hold in a persons life. Ultimately the eye which now is dark, seeing only those things that the flesh desires, sees only pleasure and fulfillment in his view of the world around him. We must remember that a soul that is lost, is a soul that seeks answers but sometimes rejects the answer. Many have a hard time believing in things that they do not see. In Gen 4:5, we see a change in the attitude of Cane and his ultimate murder of his brother. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. What caused this change? Satan. Satan put an idea into the mind of Cane, that God loved Able more than him. There by causing hatred of not only Able, but of God and His demands of offerings and obedience. This is how it starts, a thought, and idea, an image, of something better than what you have. A desire, a lust and need, that over writes common sense and the will of God. For ever action there is also a equal reaction. For sin this is no different. Romans 6:22-23; But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. In Romans 6:22-23, we see the phrase,”For the wages of sin”, for a person to gain wages, he must be employed or work at a specific job or position. This phrase indicates that, knowing what we know of God, this is not one of His, but a hireling of Satan. We are made servants of one or another, of God to, Joy, Peace and Love; and with Satan to, sin and destruction. Many end up in prison, not because of their upbringing but rather a rejection of this verse from Genesis 3:19; “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” Many want to blame society for their position in life, but this is just an excuse for rejection of the commandments of God and the teachings of Christ. We prove this in Ezekiel 18:20; “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” This is not only for those that break the law and are thrown into prison, but rather also those that live their life, day to day, year to year and never get into trouble. The wages of sin, is a death of the spirit. No matter how good a person seams to society, without Christ as their Saviour, their god is Satan. For all mankind must serve one or another. There is only two choices. For without Christ, you are the servants of sin, in bondage to Satan and his works of unrighteousness. For even the most loving, kind and giving person on earth, without Christ, is still the servant of Satan, And is in need of salvation. We cannot judge our brother, for just as a man in prison is, we all were and are. Those of us who are saved are freed in the spirit, thou we may be in prison in the body, but those that are lost are in bondage, in spirit and in the flesh. For they serve the lust of the flesh. Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Why am I Different? Your choices make you different. Isa 3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. Just as Ive said before, the reward for sin is death, not of the body in most cases, but of the spirit, that which controls all of our actions. Ars. The Baptism of The Holy Ghost. There are three baptisms mentioned in Scripture. 1. The Baptism of Water. 2. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost and 3. The Baptism of Fire. The most misunderstood are the last 2. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Regeneration; In theology, new birth by the grace of God; that change by which the will and natural enmity of man to God and his law are subdued, and a principle of supreme love to God and his law, or holy affections, are implanted in the heart. Renewing; Making new again; repairing; re-establishing; repeating; reviving; renovating. 1. The Baptism of Water. This Baptism is in accordance of the Commandment of Jesus. The water does not in itself save the individual, but it shows faith in Jesus and obedience to His word. The Baptism of Water, signifies, a trust in Christ, a burying of the old man and the resurrection of the new. This is where the words; Regeneration and Renewing, come into play. This baptism is a show of faith, not to the individual but rather a show to the world, that you believe in a God and a Saviour, that you cannot see. For it is written, Blessed are those that see and believe, but more blessed are those that do not see and still believe. The only two things that separate many from believing together on this one issue is 1. The Baptism of Baby's. There is no where in Scripture that calls for the Baptism of anyone that doesn't recognize that he is lost. There must be a understanding of good and evil before a man can be called to repent. Many have the practice of baptizing Baby's, forgetting that a person must confess their sins before God to be saved. And 2. An individual not having the opportunity to be baptized before death. If there is no opportunity to be baptized before a persons dies, he still remains saved. There is no where in scripture where it states otherwise, but rather it gives an example. (Luke 23:42-43; And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.) 2. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Gift of the Holy Ghost. Receiving the Holy ghost is a gift from God, to all who believe, for the purpose of 1. Guiding and leading the individual into all truths of the Bible, teaching you all things, and bringing all things to your remembrance, whatsoever Jesus said. and 2. To aid those that believe, in all their sickness and sorrow. 3. To send us where the Holy Ghost desires us to go, for the purpose of testifying to others. Act 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. To receive the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, there are many different ways. The Baptism isn't what many think it is, there is no physical water Baptism to Go thru, but rather a spiritual baptism takes place. You receive the Holy Ghost by these manners. 1. Prayer. Acts 8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: Act 8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 2. Repentance and Water Baptism. Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 3. The Breath of a believer. John 20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 4. By the laying on of hands of a believer. Act 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost normally takes place when a person is saved and the Pastor or Minister lays hands upon them. Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Wesley states ; Mat 3:11 - He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire - He shall fill you with the Holy Ghost, inflaming your hearts with that fire of love, which many waters cannot quench. And this was done, even with a visible appearance as of fire, on the day of Pentecost. Acts 11:15-18; And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. 3.The Baptism of Fire. The Baptism of Fire, is a special baptism of the spirit, that allows, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, to come upon the individual, when the Scriptures or should I say Gospel, is under attack. Phi 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel. Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,. Barnes states of Phi.1:17; They believe that I am an ambassador from God. They regard me as unjustly imprisoned, and while I am disabled, they are willing to aid me in the great cause to which my life is devoted. To alleviate his sorrows, and to carry forward the great cause to defend which he was particularly appointed, they engaged in the work which he could not now do, and went forth to vindicate the gospel, and to make its claims better known. JFB;Clearly, as we think, it is but the fiery character of the Spirit’s operations upon the soul - searching, consuming, refining, sublimating - as nearly all good interpreters understand the words. And thus, in two successive clauses, the two most familiar emblems - water and fire - are employed to set forth the same purifying operations of the Holy Ghost upon the soul. Especially in these last days we are surrounded by many that wish to weaken us and our belief in the Gospel. We are given a baptism in Fire to aid us in our defense of the Truth of the Bible. JFB. States; of the Fire Baptism; Clearly, as we think, it is but the fiery character of the Spirit’s operations upon the soul - searching, consuming, refining, sublimating - as nearly all good interpreters understand the words. I Am the Vine! John 15:5-7 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Abideth=word signifying progressively to “await,” “remain,” “lodge,” “sojourn,” “dwell,” “continue,” “endure”; The word Fruit is meaning; Other souls brought to Christ. Our main purpose is to bring the lost to Christ, asking and compelling them to come in, before its too late. Our limitation in this life, as Christians, are directly related to the Knowledge of Christ within us. The more we believe, the more we are able to do. For as Christ stated; “for without me ye can do nothing.” To direct others to Christ, we must first, be in Christ and Christ within us. That is the reason that no one can be saved without knowing Jesus as Lord and Christ. Many other religions offer salvation thru sacrifice and obedience to their statutes and laws, but by the Law no man can be saved. What law do I speak of ? The Law of man, the law of false religion, the law of self indulgence, also included is the Mosaic law of the Old Testament. 1Co 10:19-20; What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. To sacrifice to an idol is not in limited terms but rather in open terms, in other words, man today, as was in the times before Christ, sacrificed to idols, things of nature (Monkeys, Birds, Snakes, Moon, Sun, Stars, etc.) that were made by hands of man. Today we see many sacrificing to idols, that are the representation of their god. These take place in terms of suicide bombers that kill themselves, and the innocent in the name of their religion, in the name of a man, this is also idol worship. This takes place in the worshiping of cattle, not allowing them to be killed and eaten, while millions starve. The fastest way to separate yourself from God is to worship an idol. Who then are the gentiles? Any nation, man or person that is not Jewish. For the House of Israel, the Jews, are the Chosen of God. We become a Jew inwardly when we accept Jesus as our savor. Rom 2:28-29; For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. “I am the vine, ye are the branches.” The branches receive their substance, life and growth potential from the vine of the plant. Without the vine the branches die, and wither. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch,(A branch that does not abide or grow within the vine becomes a cancer to the vine and is cut off and cast away from the vine, this is to protect the other branches from disease.) and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. When a man first receives Christ, as his personal Saviour, he receives all the promises of God. From Everlasting life to, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of all things, according to that mans faith. Only our faith limits our ability, to believe and use, what God provides to us. The first thing that a man receives is, the knowledge about himself. When the Holy ghost, reveals to a man, that he is lost, and after the man admits that is his state, then the burden is removed from Him and he, after accepting Jesus as Lord, becomes a new creature in Christ. He accepts the truth, he accepts the wisdom and he accepts the son ship, being a son of the most High. When a man accepts the truth, that he is lost and alone in this life, then he is able to come to Christ and ask forgiveness. This is the enlightenment of self. Who we are, what we were, and who we are to become. We were once alone but now we have a guide into this world and into the next. We no longer wonder about the mysteries of life and death, but we receive the consciousness of God. We no longer worry about, life, death and eternity. Jesus stated;”If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” When you receive Christ, you receive the promises of answered prayer. But we must remember that being in Christ and receiving the promises of God, doesn't give us a free reign on receiving those things that we desire, but of those things that we are in need of. We change this carnal mind for a spiritual mind, asking for those things that will aid us and others to bring knowledge of Christ to the lost. We stop thinking about ourselves and we start thinking about the needs of others. This is the will of God concerning man. For it is written, It is more blessed to give than to receive. Our life is short on this earth, our time here should be in giving to others those things that we have received freely from God. Lets read Luke 6:21, and Luke 12:37, and understand. ” Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.” “Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” If we suffer in this life, isn't it better to suffer as a Christian, knowing that our reward is in Heaven? Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Barnes states of Rev.20:4-6. Condition of the world in the period referred to. I. It is well known that this passage is the principal one which is relied on by those who advocate the doctrine of the literal reign of Christ on the earth for a thousand years, or who hold what are called the doctrines of the “second advent.” The points which are maintained by those who advocate these views are substantially: (a) that at that period Christ will descend from heaven to reign personally upon the earth; (b) that he will have a central place of power and authority, Jerusalem; (c) that the righteous dead will then be raised, in such bodies as are to be immortal; (d) that they will be his attendants, and will participate with him in the government of the world; (e) that this will continue during the period of a thousand years; (f) that the world will be subdued and converted during this period, not by moral means, but by “a new dispensation” - by the power of the Son of God; and, (g) that at the close of this period all the remaining dead will be raised, the judgment will take place, and the affairs of the earth will be consummated. The Wicked! Who are the Wicked? This is a word of comprehensive signification, extending to every thing that is contrary to the moral law, and both to persons and actions, a mental disregard for justice, righteousness, truth, honor, virtue; evil in thought and life; depravity; sinfulness; criminality. Evil in principle or practice; deviating from the divine law; addicted to vice; sinful; immoral. The most used instance of the word wicked, in todays society, comes from, a mental disregard for righteousness thereby deviating from the divine law. One of the greatest examples of this is in; 1Samuel 17:26; And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, “What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” “for who is this uncircumcised Philistine.” This is a representation of those that were, and are defiling the Righteousness of God and His Laws. The uncircumcised Philistine, is mankind that, refuse to abide by the law of grace. For by Grace thru Faith are you saved. These are not always those that break the law of man, but those that refuse to worship, serve, and obey, God, nor recognize Jesus as Lord and Christ. This is the common man. Psa 28:5 Because they regard not(Take no thought of, nor action toward.) the works(Actions; deeds; feats; achievements, Operations.) of the LORD, nor the operation(God's creative work) of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. Isa 3:10 Say ye to the righteous(The Saved), that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.(Be rewarded for their obedience and faith in Him) Psa 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. This is the fait of those that refuse to believe and repent. There will be a separation of the just and the unjust. Those that are lost will have a separate judgment. Weather this will be a different room, or day is up to God, but the lost will not see the saved. Psa 28:4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. This is the will of God according to the message of Grace, delivered by Christ. It is concerning those that fail to believe and repent. We must remember that it is not Gods will that any man should perish(Be refused entry into the kingdom of Heaven.)but that all come into repentance. What I offer is information to the saved and to the lost, so that they can make an informed decision on weather to believe or not. On weather they are willing to accept the word of God, without seeing. The saved must, According to Scripture, be reminded of what has been preached to remain saved. 1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory (If., It is used as the sign of a condition.) what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 1Pe 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. This shows that those that died under the Law, abiding to the Law, had to have the Gospel of Christ also preached to them. This shows, proof of an after life and recognition of conversation. So if the Saved live again, then also those that are wicked and whom ever refuses to believe in Christ, will also live. Psa 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup. Dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, idolaters, lier's the Unbelieving. The wicked, depraved, the vile: for of such characters the dogs, an unclean animal among the Jews, was regarded as a symbol, Deu_23:18. The word “without” means that they would not be admitted into the heavenly city, the New Jerusalem, Rev_21:8. Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. And sorcerers, ... - All these characters are specified in Rev_21:8, as excluded from heaven. See the notes on that verse. The only change is, that those who “love and make a lie” are added to the list; that is, who delight in lies, or what is false. 1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Mat 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. These are just a few members of mankind that will suffer the second death as out lined in Revelations. The wicked are listed in scripture more than once. This is to reiterate that a sinful life and a life without Jesus as Lord of your life, will be rewarded by pain, suffering and seperation from God. Rev 20:12-15; And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Who are the Wicked? Those that refuse Jesus. Think about it. Ars. Dealing with Divorce. This is part 7 of our dealing with series. Many divorces happen because of an unequal alliance. A joining of two, separately dividing, different people. Many times its a matter of rich and poor, Immaturity, educated and uneducated, Christian and non-Christian. But most of the time, its a joining of two different people, out of the will of God. Marriages made by lust, convenience, and popularity. In most of the instances I've seen and councled, its a matter of, abuse and adultery, and or, childish lust that gives way to an act that is not justified. The joining of two different people, is what God warns of being unequally yoked together. There is no reason nor cause for abuse in any form, mental or physical, for this is a violation of the Laws of God and man. This is a violation of the Gospel, and will be dealt with by God. Eph 5:28-29; So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: The sins of Adultery. Pro 5:18-20; Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished(delighted to ecstasy.) with a strange woman,(A woman, not your wife.) and embrace the bosom of a stranger? These sins of man are equal to the same sins created by the woman, having a relationship with a man, not her husband. JFB. States of this; unequally yoked — “yoked with one alien in spirit.” The image is from the symbolical precept of the law (Lev_19:19), “Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind”; or the precept (Deu_22:10), “Thou shalt not plough with an ox and an ass together.” Compare Deu_7:3, forbidding marriages with the heathen; also 1Co_7:39. The believer and unbeliever are utterly heterogeneous. Too close intercourse with unbelievers in other relations also is included (2Co_6:16; 1Co_8:10; 1Co_10:14). A marriage of people that haven't grown up and still think as a child. Many times its the parents that cause a division between the wife and husband and often it's just childishness that is the cause. 1Co 7:15 - if ... depart — that is, wishes for separation. Translate, “separateth himself”: offended with her Christianity, and refusing to live with her unless she renounce it. brother or a sister is not under bondage — is not bound to renounce the faith for the sake of retaining her unbelieving husband [Hammond]. Deu_13:6; Mat_10:35-37; Luk_14:26. The believer does not lie under the same obligation in the case of a union with an unbeliever, as in the case of one with a believer. In the former case he is not bound not to separate, if the unbeliever separate or “depart,” in the latter nothing but “fornication” justifies separation [Photius in Aecumenius]. but God hath called us to peace — Our Christian calling is one that tends to “peace” (Rom_12:18), not quarreling; therefore the believer should not ordinarily depart from the unbelieving consort (1Co_7:12-14), on the one hand; and on the other, in the exceptional case of the unbeliever desiring to depart, the believer is not bound to force the other party to stay in a state of continual discord (Mat_5:32). Better still it would be not to enter into such unequal alliances at all (1Co_7:40; 2Co_6:14).(Clark.) bill of divorce — literally, “a writing of cuttings off.” The plural implies the completeness of the severance. The use of this metaphor here, as in the former discourse (Jer_3:1), implies a close connection between the discourses. The epithets are characteristic; Israel “apostate” (as the Hebrew for “backsliding” is better rendered); Judah, not as yet utterly apostate, but treacherous or faithless. jfb Jer 3:8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also. 1Co 7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. 1Co 7:28 But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. The sins of some churches. 1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 1Co 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.1Co 7:15 - But if the unbelieving depart - If they choose to leave you. Let him depart - You cannot prevent it, and you are to submit to it patiently, and bear it as a Christian. brns. Divorce does not mean the end of ones ability to love or remarry, if they chose to do so. We cannot condemn the divorce for abiding to the word of God and Jesus, concerning divorce. If the circumstances arise, then we must not condemn ourselves, for if the individual does all to reconcile to the other and is refused, then the person is not bound any more but has retain peace between them and God. In these cases, do not try to bear the burden of blame or fault with yourself, this is self condemnation. Those that are not saved, the laws of God are not in force with them, for the carnal mind is not subject to the law of God. Proof? Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Jfb. In such a state of mind there neither is nor can be the least subjection to the law of God. The reason here is explained, that, a person, an unbeliever is not, or will not, be bound to the laws of God and will do as he or she desires to do. There by, being not subject to the Laws of God. This is where many say that a person being married in or as sinners, after divorce, cannot remarry. This is untrue, for being out in sin, and then being saved, God no longer remembers the sins of their past. In so that a person can remarry and still be in the will of God, without a judgment being leveled against that person. This is not to say that they are not bound by the plan of salvation, for all will give an answer for their actions. Fornication; 1. Do we Honor or Pray to Mary? This message is not meant to downgrade any religion but rather to inform many about mistakes that are taking place. For me, as a Minister of the Gospel, I answer to God, My duty to God, and mankind, is to enlighten all into the truth of the Gospel. Luke 1:48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. There are many misconceptions, as to the roll of Mary, in the life of a Christian. These misconceptions come from, leaders in the Church world, not understanding or ignoring the Word of God and the Commandments of Jesus. These rules are very clear and specific from the Gospel and from the words of Jesus. We are to Honor Mary, The Mother of Jesus, call Her Blessed, but we are not to worship, pray to, nor ask intersession of, her. Mary will raise at the same time each Christian Raises. Proof? 1Th 4:15-17; For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent(Go Before.) them which are asleep(Dead). For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (Mary being of the flesh, born of woman, being saved, baptized and having died, will raise at this time.)(God is bound by His word and cannot make allowances for any.)(We cannot live by the Mosaic Law and by the Law of Grace.) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Mary cannot be an intercessor or mediator between us and Jesus nor God. Why? We see the clear answer in 1Ti 2:5-6; For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. Christians all, Respect, Honor and call Blessed, Mary, but there is only one that died for our sins, Jesus Christ. The Name of Mary is listed in the New Testament 46 times, this includes, Mary, The Mother of Jesus, and a few others, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and no where in the Bible does, Jesus or God, tell us that we can, must, or should, pray to Mary, The Mother of Jesus, for the Forgiveness of Sin nor to be able to reach Jesus. Those that pray to Mary are in direct conflict with the word of God. Mary being Blessed, still cannot answer prayer, only thru the name of Jesus and faith in His name, can prayer be answered. Every person on the Earth, at the time of Jesus, and of today, must be saved by Grace thru Faith, in Jesus being the Son of God. There are no exceptions. We are not to pray to any Idol made of stone, wood or bronze, NONE. 1Co 12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. We are not allowed, by God, to talk to the Dead ! Even Mary being, Blessed and Honored by all, is still dead and waiting the resurrection. 1Sa 28:8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. As We can See Samuel was Dead. 1Sa_28:3;1Sa 28:15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?;;. Samuel ascends, but in such a manner as to terrify the woman. She recognizes the presence of a power superior to her enchantments. Samuel declares to Saul, without reserve and without any sympathy (for this was no longer possible), the solemn judgment of God. drb. There is a difference between a vision from God and a deceptive work of Satan, appearing as an angel of light. Any vision that fore-tells the future being contrary to scripture is a false vision and must be understood as such. Many of these faults come from the Churches that teach, non Biblical Rituals and Commandments, as reveled in, Mat 15:9; Mar 7:13; 1Ti 4:3 ; But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines(This is indicating that men were and still are teaching doctrines that they say come from God, but are contrary to Gods word.) the commandments of men. Mar 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. 1Ti 4:3-7; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. The Name “Mary” is listed in the New Testament 46 times, this includes, Mary, The Mother of Jesus, and a few others, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and no where in the Bible does, Jesus nor God, tell us that we can, must, or should, pray to Mary, The Mother of Jesus, for the Forgiveness of Sin nor to be able to reach Jesus. Who do we then pray to according to the Bible? John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 1John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: John 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: Here in 1John 5:7, we see the Biblical arrangement of the Most High and Jesus and The Holy Ghost. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. We are sanctified by the Holy Ghost. Mary the mother of Jesus, is only mentioned 1 time out side of the four Gospels, in Acts 1:14; These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. I hope this lesson was a help to you. Ars. 1Pe_4:3; Jer_9:14, Jer_16:19, Jer_44:17; Eze_20:18; Amo_2:4; Zec_1:4-6; Mat_15:2, Mat_15:3; Act_7:51, Act_7:52, Act_19:34, Act_19:35; Gal_1:4
His Seed Begging Bread. There are many verses in scripture that give the believer a sense of safety and security. These verses in Psalms is especially prominent in the life of a Christian. Our belief values are somewhat based on our belief that God will take care of us, threw the tough times. But this is not nor should it be our primary reason to believe. Our belief system begins with the Birth, Death, Resurrection and Assention of Jesus, as Both Lord and Christ, the Son of God. We start out believing that Jesus is the Son of God and it grows from there to believe as we are taught. When a Christian is in trouble, there is no need to call upon man to help first, but rather we are commanded by Christ to call upon the name of the Lord. Psa 37:25-32; I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken(Deserted; left; abandoned.), nor his seed begging bread. There is no time, that the believers in Christ, are left alone. The Devourer is on the prowl, looking for a young lamb to destroy. Can you ever think of a time when you saw a Christian going hungry? I mean really hungry? Hunger is something different to different people. The Bible tells us that what ever condition that we find ourselves in, there with be content. “There with” is stating that if you are in a state of riches, be content with what you have, if you find yourself poor, be content, if you find yourself with a set of cloths and a piece of bread, be content. Our contentment with our present state is pivotal to being rewarded by God. We are there by showing that we are willing to accept the state or destiny that God has designed for us. If we cannot be content with food and clothing we are unable to accept or control greater riches or position in this life. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. When we become believers in Christ, we are separated from the world , become a new creature and have been sealed to the everlasting Father. Now if your friends and family can give you food, clothing and shelter, weather being a Christian or not, how much more do you think God can give and how much more that He loves you? The Love of God is endless, as far as His Children is concerned. “his seed is blessed.” This is what we must believe. Our time of total acceptance of God and His word is now, today, while today is still called today. Are we the seed of God, the seed of Abraham? Then we must start acting as Kings and Priest, we must become the children of God. Being faithful, if only with a few things, accepting our Son-ship and being totally dependent upon God. (Mat 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.) Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. In 2nd Co 8:2-4, we see that poverty is not uncommon within the Church, as far back as the Churches at Macedonia, we see that God knew of their state and they were content with it. This is where their power was centered. The blessings of God start coming when we begin 1. believing and 2. When we become content with what He supply's to us. “How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. "Let me ask you a question.”Does your coffers must need to be full before you can say that you are blessed by God? Lets read, 1Ti 6:5-8, and understand; “Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” You argue that, “There are others that have plenty and we have nothing, is this a show of love from the one we believe in?” My answer is what Jesus stated to Peter, one of the other disciples, and what God told the world; John 21:21-22; Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. “what is that to thee?” Deu 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. The things that are ours, are the insight and understanding, not of what takes place to many who believe, but rather as to what the scriptures mean. Many things that we do not understand, belong to God and to Him only. We cannot say to the one who created us,”What are you doing?” Job 33:11-14; He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.(God allows many things to afflict His Children, a sort of Chastisement, that takes a believer father than they ever imagined to go. Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. And this last verse explains it all; Dan 4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. Don't be dismayed by the state that you find yourself. God is all knowing and all caring. He know what His children need and desire. He know when one is hungry or saddened by events that are taking place around them. When hunger comes, manna is sent, when one is naked, cloths appear when one is down hearted, one is sent to assure joy in their life. Remember that, “The Joy of the Lord is my Strength.” So have Joy in the Lord and He will take care of you. ars. 2Co 8:2 - in: 1Th_1:6, 1Th_2:14, 1Th_3:3, 1Th_3:4 the abundance: Neh_8:10-12; Act_2:45, Act_2:46 their deep: Mar_12:42-44; Luk_21:1-4; Jam_2:5; Rev_2:9 the riches: 2Co_6:10, 2Co_9:11, 2Co_9:13; Deu_15:4; Pro_11:25; Isa_32:5-8 liberality: Gr. simplicity, 2Co_1:12; Rom_12:8 Psa 37:25 - I have: Psa_71:9, Psa_71:18; Job_32:6, Job_32:7; Act_21:16; Phm_1:8, Phm_1:9 yet: Psa_37:28, Psa_94:14; Jos_1:5; 1Sa_12:22; Isa_13:16; 2Co_4:9; Heb_12:5, Heb_12:6; Heb_13:5 nor his seed: Psa_25:13, Psa_59:15, Psa_109:10, Psa_112:2; Gen_17:7; Job_15:23; Pro_13:22; Luk_1:53-55 Mat 25:21 - Well: 2Ch_31:20,2Ch_31:21; Luk_16:10; Rom_2:29; 1Co_4:5; 2Co_5:9, 2Co_10:18; 1Pe_1:7 I will: Mat_25:34-40,Mat_25:46, Mat_10:40-42, Mat_24:47; Luk_12:44, Luk_22:28-30; Rev_2:10,Rev_2:26-28, Rev_3:21; Rev_21:7 enter: Mat_25:23; Psa_16:10,Psa_16:11; Joh_12:26, Joh_14:3, Joh_17:24; Phi_1:23; 2Ti_2:12; Heb_12:2; 1Pe_1:8; Rev_7:17
Sleeping With The Enemy. Does the Cross of Christ have enemies? Do Christians also have enemies? The answer to both of these questions is, Yes. The cross to those that wish to perish and the preaching of that cross is foolishness. We see many that walk contrary to sound judgment and reason. We see many that are determined to annihilate the way of the Cross and any that believe. We see wars started over changes in the attitude of people and most of the wars are started by religious differences. You say “How can this be so?” Its easy, many other religions that are contrary to sound doctrine teach elimination of all that will not follow their ways of teaching. There by we get wars, civil strife, civil war, and ethnic cleansing, in other words murder in the name of God. In Phi 3:18-19, we see proof that there are enemies to the Cross; (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping,(This weeping comes from the knowledge that many will refuse the conception and message of the Cross.) that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:(This is indicating that Jesus in conjunction with the cross, is their main target of hatred and attack.)Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Belly= In scripture, belly is used for the heart. Prov 18:8. 20.30.John 7:38. Carnal lusts, sensual pleasure, etc. Rom 16:18. Phil 3:19. The whole man. Titus 1:12. The seat of the carnal affections (Tit_1:12; Phi_3:19; Rom_16:18). The word is used symbolically for the heart (Pro_18:8; Pro_20:27; Pro_22:18, marg.). The “belly of hell” signifies the grave or underworld (Jon_2:2). When we understand scripture and the relevances of Gods enemies, then we will realize that we cannot sleep with the enemy. We cannot have dealing with, communion with, nor acceptance to their way of life. For the enemies of God and His Son Jesus, become our enemies. In James 4:4, We see who is, the enemy of God; “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” Enmity=Deep-rooted hatred. The quality of being an enemy; the opposite of friendship; ill will; hatred; unfriendly dispositions; malevolence. It expresses more than aversion and less than malice, and differs from displeasure in denoting a fixed or rooted hatred, whereas displeasure is more transient. Many times, more than often, the meaning of words, give us insight into the full meaning of each scripture. Enmity is being in opposition to God and His will concerning the people that He has created. This opposition has become more prevalent in these last day, especially between the Islamic culture and God. They refuse to believe, even the prophets, that they speak often of, concerning a Messiah to come. Claiming to also be of the seed of Abraham, they still refuse to believe him concerning the Messiah. Is Mohammedanism the only enemy to God? By no means, they are just one of Millions that refuse to adhere to the will of God. The greatest enemy to God and to Us is the Mind of man. For from the mind or should I say Heart of man, comes the true thoughts and actions of that man. Hatred and all manner of evil thoughts and actions. Rom 8:7-8; Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. The carnal mind is the source of all false religions, Buddhism, Satanism, Futurism, Humanism and all the other “isms” around the world. The Carnal mind has set up defenses against the truth. For truth is the center of Christianity. Remember that Christianity is not judged by the actions of individual people, but by the combined effort of all born again Christians. For as long as we are in the flesh, we are bound to make mistakes. Gal 1:9-10; As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Many of the “Isms” have evolve into a man pleasing venture, pleasing man and not God. This is where their power comes from. The greater the following, the greater the power, to control thoughts and actions. Many of these control devices come from intimidation and the teaching of Baby's their way of faith. If you teach a child from birth that a certain people are enemies, they will grow up believing this and act accordingly. Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Rom 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Gal 1:10 - do I now: Act_4:19, Act_4:20, Act_5:29; 2Co_5:9-11; 1Th_2:4 persuade: 1Sa_21:7; Mat_28:14; Act_12:20; Rom_2:8 *Gr: 1Jo_3:9 do I seek: 2Co_12:19; 1Th_2:4 for if: Mat_22:16; Rom_15:1, Rom_15:2; 1Co_10:33; Eph_6:6; Col_3:22; Jam_4:4 the servant: Rom_1:1 Gal 1:9 - so: 2Co_1:17, 2Co_13:1, 2Co_13:2; Phi_3:1, Phi_4:4 than: Deu_4:2, Deu_12:32, Deu_13:1-11; Pro_30:6; Rev_22:18, Rev_22:19

He is a Jew. When a man dreams, he dreams of good times and places near and far. He dreams of things that were and things to come. He dreams of times that will be and places that he never will see. But that is what makes a man human. What a man becomes is what he believes that he will be. The times that these dreams don't come true is when a man starts doubting his dreams and misunderstands his purpose. When a man starts not believing in himself and his dreams, the dreams fall by the wayside and the mans dreams become a burden. Then we start looking, not at the dreams of man but rather, at what he is to become. What was, what is and what he should be. For he is not a Jew , unless he believes, unless he understands and accepts, that God is who He is. These words of Paul, in Romans 2:28-29 are very special, if we take the time to read and understand. Many of the verses in Gods word must be took slowly, we must dwell upon them and meditate. Here is where the hidden mysteries of the kingdom of Heaven are reveled. Take a moment and read Romans 2:28-29, after you've read, close your eyes and think upon the verses, put yourself inside the words, let the words flow within your spirit, and understand. Romans 2:28-29; For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; (A man is more than what we see, more than what he sees in a mirror. Something deeper and more complex that he or we realize.) neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:(That which we determine to be important in showing the things that we believe in are less that what we believe. For the actions of the flesh are controlled by the spirit of man and thereby becomes more important.) But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; (inwardly, the spirit and dreams of a man, this is who he, and God, desires him to be. Many times in the past, I was downhearted by the lack of friendship I found within the neighborhood that I lived in, the City, the State, the Nation and then, the World. Everyone judged me by what I appeared to be and not what I was, or was to become. I wasn't as smart as many were, wasn't as fast, as hansom, as strong, nor popular. I found myself struggling against the stigma of all the negative assumptions that this world had put upon me, I know that many that are reading or hearing this can relate to this. “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly”; and neither is a man what he appears to be on the outward appearance.) and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Do you look on things or people after the outward appearance? Do you judge someone because of their financial status, their looks, their family or their intelligence? If I had accepted what man had called me to be from their outward assumptions of me, I would never have written this message, I would never had a family of my own and I would have never been able to do the things that I have done in my life. I thank God that mens values were not my values. 2Co 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's. Christianity is not a religion of perfect people. As we judge others of faith, we must first judge ourselves. Each Christian is different, in faith, in understanding and in knowledge. There is no such thing as a super Christian, we are who we are by the Grace of God. Understanding and relating to things as we are able to comprehend. When we do something for the ministry and Lord, we sometimes fall short of the expectations of others. But who are we to judge another mans servant, for we are individual servants unto God and Christ. Rom 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Shall we look at ourselves and specify this or that about our lives, are we not pre-destined or pre-determined before the foundation of the world? God has made us human and He desires us to be His Children. So we become a Jew inwardly not of the outward appearance, but inwardly as a new creature. We believing in God and Christ, have become reborn into a life without end, everlasting and every growing. But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly, we have changed this life for a better one. I have never seen anyone that gave their heart to God that didn't become better off than they were before. Rich, poor, Intelligent or not. They all increased in wisdom, knowledge, understanding and financially better. I had a man many years ago tell me, Brother, I'm not a Jew, I'm an American. He didn't understand what Paul was stating. We are new Creatures, we have been reborn and we are different than we used to be. Weather it be, becoming a Jew inwardly, or a Child of God, who has a country with no name, no designation or location. For the Kingdom of Heaven has no limits nor boundaries, for how can we contain God, what House would we build. Tell me where Heaven starts and ends. I wish to end with these words from Wesley; Rom 2:29 - But he is a Jew - That is, one of God's people. Who is one inwardly - In the secret recesses of his soul. And the acceptable circumcision is that of the heart - Referring to Deu_30:6; the putting away all inward impurity. This is seated in the spirit, the inmost soul, renewed by the Spirit of God. And not in the letter - Not in the external ceremony. Whose praise is not from men, but from God - The only searcher of the heart. ars. Rom 2:28 - For he: Rom_9:6-8; Psa_73:1; Isa_1:9-15, Isa_48:1, Isa_48:2; Hos_1:6-9; Mat_3:9; Joh_1:47; Joh_8:37-39; Gal_6:15; Rev_2:9 neither: Jer_9:26; Rom_4:10-12; 1Pe_3:21
Tyeing The Hands of God. There are many verses in Scripture that tell us not to interfere in the workings of God and His plan for humanity. For the Bible tells us that Gods will is that no man should perish. When you are in need, do you tie the Hands of God by your inconsistencies in faith? Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand; To persist; to persevere. To remain fixed in a purpose or opinion. To stand fast, to be fixed; to be unshaken or immovable. When we ask of God and become impatient we then become shaken or movable, we have tied Gods hands in attempting to answer our prayers. We doubt, when we become restless and worried. We have become a people transfixed by time. Time in seconds, minutes, hours and days. We don't accept patience as a virtue. When we doubt and get in a hurry, we start loosing many of the things that we have obtained from the beginning of our faith. Humbleness, trust, faith, insight, and patience. We loose our ability to comprehend the will of God. And isn't that the thing that we are looking for, Gods will? Many times we don't seek out Gods will in our life, family or even ministry. We decided, somewhere down the line, that we are in control of God, instead of God being in control of us. When we first believed, we gave our total life over to Gods will, accepting things as to the purpose of God for us. Accepting His perfect will and direction, as the way to go. We cannot tell the Creator, that something is wrong or right, what's acceptable or unacceptable, what should be or shouldn't. God cannot be contained nor controlled, He cannot be manipulated or changed. I believe that Job had the correct attitude when he stated of his life;” And said, “Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” (Job 1:21) Certainly we came into this life with nothing, no home, no possessions, no material substance, no direction nor righteousness. We came not into this world with ordination from man that we were to be of any value. A man once told me that If I doubted his interpretation of scripture, that I was sining, but he failed to correct his mistake in scripture, for the Bible tells us that the interpretation of scripture was not open for any private interpretation. We cannot judge another mans servant, for to one he does well and to another he falls short. We all have a vision, a dream a prophecy and an interpretation. Lets read a little scripture; Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Rom 8:28-30; And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Your life as a Christian is well ordered by God. He will direct your foot paths, if you acknowledge Him in all your ways. What is meant by this? Acknowledging God is to accept all manner of change in your life from the unrighteous thoughts and actions of man unto the righteousness of God. Acknowledging God for your Food, Substance, Talk, Thought, Heart and Manner of life, giving God all the Glory. For we must remember that without Jesus we can do nothing. Those that posses great wealth are indebted to God, for without His approval no man would posses anything. Confusing? Well its really not. Lets read the proof in Scripture; Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. The key here is, ”the powers that be are ordained of God.” For whom he did foreknow(To have previous knowledge of.), he also did predestinate (To predetermine or foreordain; to appoint or ordain beforehand by an unchangeable purpose.) to be conformed (Made to resemble; reduced to a likeness of; made agreeable to; suited.) to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. “to be conformed to the image of his Son”, is not stating the physical appearance but to the image of Christ Righteousness, His manner of dealing with life and dealing with death and the resurrection, in other words having the Mind of Christ. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. You must believe that God has control over every, man, woman, leader(good or bad.), situation, and circumstance. We must not fail to remember that God allowed His Son to suffer for us and sometimes we also must suffer for the cause of Christianity. We must have faith that God knows our hearts desires and will, in His time, address your needs. Predestinate; Act_2:23; Rom_8:29; Rom_11:2; 1Pe_1:2), one of those high attributes essentially appertaining to him the full import of which we cannot comprehend. In the most absolute sense his knowledge is infinite (1Sa_23:9-13; Jer_38:17-23;(Easton) We are on a planet, in the vastness of the universe, and we have no place to go. Therefore we must address the virtue of patience. Wait upon the Lord and He will answer. Stories For Children . Stories for Children. The Lamb, The Lion and The Bear. I want to tell you the story of a Lamb, a Lion, and a Bear. As the story goes: A small Lamb once believed that there was nothing that could ever hurt him. He became tired of the same old pasture and seeing the open fields that lay before Him, wanted to claim all that He could for Himself. "Look at me." He said to the other sheep, "Have you ever seen anyone as I?" He was so proud of His white coat of wool and His Legs of strength. A swift little thing he was, jumping higher than any other and seeing, as of the eyes of an eagle, and smart, he was even surprised on how intelligent he was. Being warned not to stray away from the flock, he decided that nothing could hurt him, so he went on a journey on his own. He wanted to see far off places and discover new things that were never discovered before. A couple of days on his own was wonderful, the squirrels and field mice were afraid of him and his, courage and pride, was increasing by the moment. Occasionally he would run into a herd of elder sheep, which warned Him to return to the flock until He grew older and wiser. " I am all that I need." He would reply, as He went on His way. "It’s a beautiful time to be alive", he said to himself. Now on the third morning, as he was rambling thru, this new world that he had found, he ran across a hungry Bear. "I’m not afraid of this creature." He said to himself. "I desire food. Stay still and I will kill you quickly." Said the hungry bear. " I am swift and beautiful and no meal for a bear." The Lamb replied. And as the Bear started to chase the little lamb, the lamb spotted a log, lying across a gully and ran as fast as he could to get across first. On the other side of the gully, the little lamb, turned and kicked the log as hard as he could, for the Bear was already half way across. The log dislodged and fell, carrying the Bear with it to his death. The little Lamb was so proud of himself, he started to dance and sing and boasted on how great he was, "To kill a mighty Bear, I’m so proud, my shiny white wool, and strong legs and how smart I am. There’s nothing that can hurt me." As the little Lamb turned to prance off with His pride, He ran straight into the arms of a waiting Lion, who slew the little lamb and devoured him, straight way. The Eagle and The Peacock. In a land far, far away, there was a beautiful mountain. Higher than high, stronger than the strongest, more majestic than man had ever seen. Beautiful white clouds, so white that they appeared to be smoke billowing about the summit surrounded it. Blue sky and shimmering lakes as if they were glass, reflecting the green trees of every type, and at night doubling the moon and stars as if they were painted upon the waters. At the top of the mountain sat an Eagle, a majestic bird of strength and courage, the only one that dared to be at such a height. This was His domain and kingdom. From the perch that He sat upon, He could see all the lands and creatures that lived upon the earth. A great responsibility He had, since an Eagle was a Bird of prey, He had to decide who would live or die at each rising of the sun. A lonely life He had, only wanting to share this kingdom of His, with someone else, who would come to Him in Love and understanding. Wanting a Son, Yes, but wanting more than a Son, He wanted a Family. Now at the bottom of this beautiful mountain was a Peacock, brash and bold. He was always bragging on how colorful He was. He had for sometime looked upon the mountain with envy and desire in His heart to posses it for His own. "I’m as good as the Eagle, why shouldn’t I have part of this mountain for my own."" I will make my nest above the clouds and write my name among the Stars and I will be as the Eagle, making choices of Life and Death to the inferior creatures below." "The Eagle turns away from no one.” said a lamb to the Peacock, its better that you forget your pride and remain as you were created." The Peacock replied;” I will be as the Eagle or better." So the peacock in his ambition started to walk up the mountain, wanting everyone to see His beautiful tail, all spread out and fanning. As He neared the summit, the Eagle looked down upon Him and asked,” Why have you tempted me in such a manor, why have you tried to be something you will never be?" "I will be as you are Eagle, I will make my perch above the clouds and I will write my name among the stars and I will make decisions on who lives and dies below, I am so beautiful, I deserve this for myself." This made the Eagle very angry and wroth with the Peacock. With His talons spread wide and a shadow of His mighty wings covering the sun, He swooped down upon the Peacock and snatched Him up and carried Him beyond the edge of the mountain. "You are full of pride, my friend. To be an Eagle, as I, you must first show all that you can soar as an Eagle." And at this saying the Mighty Eagle released the Peacock and let Him fall. The fall was a great one and the further the Peacock fell the more heat built up in Him as He tried to fly, the heat was so great that he was caught on fire and fell as a burning star from the sky. As the Eagle hovered above, He said to all the creatures below, "I am the Eagle and no one else is like I, and remember what you have learned today, you can’t soar with the Eagles, with a barn yard mentality." The Old Lady and The Snake. In a land not so far away from here, lived and old lady, in a cabin, by a lake, by a falls, by a forest of green pines. The weather was always pretty there, by the lake. Swans were always swimming and duck and geese were always happy to be honking all the day long. Fish would jump and swim and play about the pretty lake, as raccoon and bear and all manner of animals enjoyed being around the old lady, in a cabin, by the lake, by the falls, by the forest of green pines. The old lady often sat on her porch and look up at the mountain, with the snow covering the top, for she had never touched the snow where she lived. As the night fell and all the animals went to sleep, the old lady spotted the first star of the evening and decided to make a wish, thou she had never made a wish before,” I wish, I wish I could touch the snow and play with its white flakes, so soft and fluffy before I die.” Now as the old Lady started to turn in for the night, she peered out her window to see a most unusual sight. Snow, it was snowing, by the cabin, by the lake, by the falls, by the forest of green pines, snowing everywhere! “My wish has come true. I must go and touch this snow and feel its fluffy flakes before it melts and goes away.” So the old Lady dawned her coat and boots and walked out into the cold clear night. Now as she was strolling by the forest of green pines she spied a curious sight, a snake, half frozen in the grass by a large pine tree. “Have pity on me old Lady, for I am so cold and lonely. Please take me into your cabin and let me warm myself by the fire, lest I die all alone in this snow.” Hissed the Snake. “The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.” Quoted the old lady. “A snake doesn’t belong in my cabin.” “I would not even ask you old Lady, except for this snow that came from nowhere and caught me out of my den.” And as the snake stated this, the old Lady remembered that it was she, whom wished the snow to fall, and deciding in herself, that it was her fault that the snake was about to die, she decided to take the snake in to let him warm himself by the fire. So she wrapped the snake up in a blanket of wool and placed him by the fire, haven given him, meat to eat and water to drink, she retired for the night. As the old Lady arose the next morning, she went to check up on the snake to make sure that he was all right. As she reached down to wake him, the snake bit the old Lady. “ You are a poisonest snake and, you repay me this way for helping you?” “It was I who caused the snow to fall, because of my wish, but didn’t I give you my blanket and fire and food and water to help you? I saved your life and now you repay my kindness, by taking mine. Why?” Exclaimed the old Lady. “The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid. Silly old Lady, you have no power over the weather to make it snow and you knew that I was a snake before you brought me in.” Hissed the Snake. In a land not so far away from here, there used to live and old lady, in a cabin, by a lake, by a falls, by a forest of green pines. 1. Jesus, used parables to make a point. 3.We see here in this parable that the Lamb represents two different types of people, 4.1. The proud boaster and, 5.2. The young Christian, not knowing the ways of the world. Many of you here today need to understand, that the world in scripture represents, not the people, per say, but an attitude, a spirit, a way of thinking and a way of life. Ars.
Sown in Weakness. 1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. The hope that Jesus Raised from the dead, is the Hope that dwells within us all, who believe. What does 1st.Co 15:42-54 really mean? We have went from the Cross to the Grave, but the grave is not the end of all things but just the beginning. I attended many a funeral this year, all family members that went to be with the Lord, all having the hope of the resurrection within themselves. The Cross for Jesus was two different things, 1. Giving His Life so that we might live. 2. Showing the Power of God, laying the sins of the entire world on to the shoulders of His Son. The Cross is our symbol, not of Death, but of Life, thru the one who hung between Heaven and Hell, between Heaven and Earth, between Us and God. Jesus was, and still is, our connection with God that before was impossible. A link of flesh and blood shed and a link of Spirits. The Resurrection of the Dead. 1Co 15:42-54. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. Sown in; 1.Corruption; Depravity; wickedness; perversion or deterioration of moral principles; loss of purity or integrity. 2. Dishonour; 1Co 15:43 - in dishonour — answering to “our vile body” (Phi_3:21); literally, “our body of humiliation”: liable to various humiliations of disease, injury, and decay at last. JFB. 3. Weakness; Want of physical strength; want of force or vigor; feebleness; as the weakness of a child; the weakness of an invalid feebleness of mind; foolishness. 4. Natural Body; This flesh that contains our spirit & Soul. All of these things, we are, or were. The Seed. The seed is the word of God, it is sown in many physical bodies, some believe and are saved and many more reject and are lost. The Word of God came to all by this sowing of seeds, thru a minister of God. This Depraved; wicked; perverse, the lacking of moral principles; and the loss of purity, came to us from sin and our acceptance of it. As we came to the knowledge of truth, we were weak in our bodys, accepting anything that this flesh wanted. We were not in control of our lives and we were not in control of our spirit, for our spirit, before Christ, lusted to envy. Therefore as by the offense of Adam judgment came upon all men for by Adam we were all condemned. For if you say, you never sinned, you become a lier and the truth is far from you. For all men have sinned and have fallen short of the Glory of God. Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: The seeds of the truth; 1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul(In the weakness of the Flesh.); the last Adam was made a quickening spirit(In the Power of God.). As we die, so shall we be raised, dieing in corruption ,we raise in corruption, as we die in sin, we also raise in sin, for the corrupt after death cannot be saved, those that die in sin cannot be forgiven of sin. For it is appointed unto man, once to be born, once to die and then the Judgment. There is no place after death, where men can receive forgiveness after he has rejected Christ in this life. To say or teach otherwise, is a deception and false doctrine. 1Co 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. For only by the Cross, can this corrupt put on the incorruption, this vile put on Cleanliness, this mortal body be made in the likeness of our Lord, and this weakness put on Power. For the resurrection of the Saints is by the Power of the Cross and the Power of The Holy Ghost. That same Spirit that Raised our Saviour from The Dead. The seeds of truth are sometimes harsh, gentile, easy to understood and sometimes hidden to only those that refeused to believe. To some; Phi 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: Phi 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: Phi 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. Brns. The earnest desire and hope which Paul had was not, primarily, that he might be released; but it was that, in all circumstances, he might be able to honor the gospel, living or dying. To that he looked as a much more important matter than to save his life. Life with him was the secondary consideration; the main thing was, to stand up everywhere as the advocate of the gospel, to maintain its truth, and to exhibit its spirit. For it is the preaching of the Gospel(Seeds.) and the living of the Commandments of Christ, that Saves, regenerates, revives and rejoins us, to Him that Died and raised, and to His Father that now accepts us into the Beloved. It is sown in Weakness; it is raised in Power: Ars.

Islamic History Expert: Moslem Peace with Israel? Never! By Ezra HaLevi Islam History Professor Moshe Sharon of Hebrew University told a counter-terrorism conference Thursday, "There is no possibility of peace between Israel and the Palestinians whatsoever - ever.” Sharon, speaking at the annual conference of Herzliya’s Counter Terrorism Institute, said that Iran is dead serious about obtaining and using nuclear weapons in order to bring about its vision of an Islamic End of Days. The veteran expert on Islam says that Western officials fail to grasp that the Arab and Islamic world truly see Israel’s establishment as a “reversal of history” and are therefore unable to ever accept peaceful relations with it. From Moslems’ perspective, “Islamic territory was taken away from Islam by Jews. You know by now that this can never be accepted, not even one meter. So everyone who thinks Tel Aviv is safe is making a grave mistake. Territory which at one time was dominated by Islamic rule, now has become non-Moslem. Non-Moslems are independent of Islamic rule and Jews have created their own independent state. It is anathema. Worse, Israel, a non-Moslem state, is ruling over Moslems. It is unthinkable that non-Moslems should rule over Moslems.” Sharon dismissed various peace treaties signed by Moslem and Arab officials over the years as "pieces of paper, parts of tactics and strategies… with no meaning." Sharon’s assessment focused on the danger posed by Iran. From studying Iranian culture, literature, newspapers, broadcasts and interviews with major players in the Islamic regime, Sharon concludes that a deep belief in a Shiite messiah is at the root of Iran’s nuclear project. “They truly believe that the Shiite messiah, the 12th Imam (also known as the Mahdi), is here, and that he will reveal himself… What moves the Iranian government and leadership today is first and foremost the wish to bring about the 12th Imam." Addressing the theological doctrine of how exactly the this Messiah will be revealed, Sharon explained: "How will they bring him? Through an apocalypse. He (the Mahdi) needs a war. He cannot come into this world without an Armageddon. He wants an Armageddon. The earlier we understand this the better. Ahmadinejad wants nuclear weapons for this!" Sharon has in the past insisted that the Western world was engaging in great folly by differentiating between radical and peaceful Islam. “All of a sudden we see that the greatest interpreters of Islam are politicians in the Western world,” he wrote sarcastically. “They know better than all the speakers in the mosques, all those who deliver terrible sermons against anything that is either Christian or Jewish. These Western politicians know that there is good Islam and bad Islam. They know even how to differentiate between the two - except that none of them know how to read a word of Arabic.” “The difference between Judaism, Christianity and Islam is as follows: Judaism speaks about national salvation - namely, that at the end of the story, when the world becomes a better place, Israel will be in its own land, ruled by its own king and serving G-d. Christianity speaks about the idea that every single person in the world can be saved from his sins, while Islam speaks about ruling the world. I can quote here in Arabic, but there is no point in quoting Arabic, so let me quote a verse in English: ‘Allah sent Mohammed with the true religion so that it should rule over all the religions.’ “The idea, then, is not that the whole world would necessarily become Moslem at this time, but that the whole world would be subdued under the rule of Islam.” That, Sharon insists, is the plan, in black-and-white, of the Iranian regime. “This is why [Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad seeks nuclear weapons,” he emphasized. “The faster we realize this, the better.”
